Love! love! love! This space has been well managed, and the downstairs cloakroom has a window. I'm sold❤. I wish the kitchen was on the other end... it can get very hot during summer when cooking.

In the upstairs lounge, I would put an appliance garage/fridge/larder in that nook, then you wouldn’t have to keep going up and down the stairs for drinks and snacks. Great idea to put the washing machine off the hall, but I do wish that British homes had utility areas where the bedding etc. is. My sheets come off the bed, go about 1 meter to the washing machine, then either go into the nearby condenser dryer or onto the bedroom balcony. 🇮🇹 Who wants to take their underwear into the kitchen? 😂
