I don’t care what anyone says, I love Brian. No one in the hobby as long as he’s been hasn’t made mistakes. I think he’s an asset to the hobby and hate seeing so many bad mouthing him

Brian was my inspiration to start keeping pythons when I was twelve years old. I had never heard of carpet pythons or scrub pythons until I watched brian on SnakeBytesTV when I was a younger kid.

That is amazing about the T+’s! Antaresia has always been my favorite genus and i’ve drooled over all of the morphs they have in Australia! I’ve wondered if we’d ever get any morphs in the states and am very excited to hear that. I have a pair of Children’s and a pair of Spotted’s I’ll be breeding for the first time this year

Thanks to you I have yet another snake species on my ever-growing Reptile Wishlist. 🤦🏻♀️🤣 I had never heard of the Silver Satin before but they are absolutely gorgeous and I’m going to research them asap to see if they would be a good fit for me in the future. Thank you for giving me yet another reason to love reptiles and another great channel to watch! 🤘🏻☺️

Congrats on the new project Gary! Curious if in your experience you’ve noticed any general temperament differences between Children’s and Spotteds?
@gsreptiles56062 жыл бұрын
Hi Grettel! I've worked with both, and I find them to be almost identical. Not aggressive, but strong feeding responses. I also think it is easier to get baby childrens feeding than baby spotteds feeding (despite childrens being the smaller species). Thanks for watching!

You forgot to highlight the bassin at the reptarium
@gsreptiles56062 жыл бұрын
Hi Elton, you're the 2nd person who mentioned this. I did not see a Basin, nor did I know there was one at the Reptarium. It's possible however it was taken off display. (Huge enclosures rock, but would not be surprised if a Basin stopped eating in one.)

It looks like your shutter speed is too low on your video. You need to check your camera settings. You need to follow the 180 degree rule.

Being a new arboreal keeper, seeing people that are absolutely filthy rich get into the hobby when you’re scraping with a full family can get pretty disheartening. All I see in any of these videos is millions of dollars and it’s hard to not let that be a little bit discouraging. If you’re watching this thinking the same, keep going.
@gsreptiles56062 жыл бұрын
Hi Rich, I know both in my case (and Brian's), it has taken 35+ years to build our collections, so be assured it did not happen overnight. When it comes to building your own collection, just start small and breed what you have, and that's how you grow a collection. Enjoy your family, enjoy your animals, and everything else will fall into place. Thanks so much for watching!
