We go to Ireland on a road trip along the west coast of Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way!
In our third vlog from Ireland we continue our adventures by traveling along the beautiful Ring of Kerry and to arrive in Dingle on the Wild Atlantic Way:

wowowow we NEED your video shooting setup. We often go to Morocco... would be great just for the humor of the sorts of things you see on the road there. I suppose with enough storage you could just film it all & keep it for later times when wanting to look back.

Great video - would you say plenty opportunity to wild/freedom park for night as well on the route so far. Also what’s it like to empty loo and fill water ... thanks for great video as we are thinking going there next year to do part of it at least

Hi GetawayGeese, there are a few places to empty and fill up along the way but you just have to know where they are. We used the Park4Night app to locate places to stay and empty. We brought a spare toilet cassette but didn't need it. We only emptied in toilets twice. I hope that helps?

Hi Philip, Sneem did look nice when we drove through it. There were a lot of coaches and we were more interested in meeting our friends. The campsite near the river looked nice too.

Hi from NZ - Zoe I'm like you don't like climbing up hills especially in the fog, my husband is laughing at you and said you are just like I am! Pity the weather wasn't much good for you but what a lovely country, thank you love your video's

Hi Karynn, years ago we were in the middle of nowhere at a T-junction which was on a slope and it was raining. It was nasty because the road was slippery and Herman wouldn't make it without a run-up. I think that's where Zoe gets her fear from - having to reverse all the way back down!

@@HermanHitstheRoad I live in Co Cavan near the border with Northern Ireland. I travel to Kerry and Cork usually twice a year (about 4 hours) to recharge the batteries. It is my little piece of heaven on earth :-)

What time in the morning do you get up, to get everything in. How much is diesel over there. Wasn't you worried about corrosion to old herman and sand getting into your wheel bearing etc driving on the beach.

Hi Robert, diesel was cheaper than petrol at around €1.30 per litre. We normally head out at about 10 or 11 in the morning which is very late. As for worrying about the beach and corrosion, no we weren't worried at all. Corrosion shouldn't occur on bearings etc because they are covered up. Corrosion normally occurs on the chassis but Herman is well protected in that area.

@@HermanHitstheRoad I know all bearings are covered, but you know sand, it will get into anywhere, exhaust and exposed metal parts could rust, plus sand on shocks could get behind seal. Ive always been very dubious about going on beaches or driving trough sea water. I know diesels cheaper than petrol every where except UK because global warming only effects UK lol, just wondered how much and thats cheaper than UK which is unusual because ireland can be expensive

You sound like someone who hasn't been to Ireland? If anyone wants to experience Europe but are worried about driving on the wrong side of the road or talking the lingo then we totally recommend visiting Ireland. Some parts did remind us both of France and you have lovely people and beautiful scenery. So, Chris, when are you planning on visiting Ireland? ;-)

@@HermanHitstheRoad ........ I've never been but wouldn't mind going. My Grandad was Irish and fought with an Irish regiment in WW1 against the Turks. So I should go and meet the family. P.S. he only had 2 brothers who both fought for the British army in France. One was never found and the other is buried near Calais.
