This one doesn't feel homely (family orientated), maybe for big events it will function well. views are breathtaking. Its too bad that as soon as an Architect is titled world renowned no one can criticize his work, I will say the Architect creates spaces with intention of creating a great Art pieces out of it but not a home. As an Architect I would be honest and say this house gives a different feelings of loneliness by how each space is designed to be secluded from the other which creates darkness in every room which is depressing and probably scary at night. Perhaps it can work as temporary holiday home, presidential use or used as an embassy home. It has a great look outside, rooms are big enough and that works. Love your presentation and how you have made such a research on everything. Love your work, videography and presentation.

I’m asking myself if the architect is allergic to light or was he depressed during the conceptualisation. It’s so lonely & dark but yet spectacular. I’m struggling with finishing the video because it’s bringing me down. I thought architects understood how light & colour affects mood.

I will die from depression if I stay in such a house even if I'm given for free I wont take it or I will sell it quick. This is a well crafted home indeed. Just a few questions: 1. Is there an underground walkway from the garage into the house in case of rain? 2. Hi Peter, thanks for watching and great questions. 1. There is no walkway, however there is a side entrance by the kitchen which is a few steps from the garage. 2. The shutters are made from a metallic alloy 3. Two Staff Quarters, large laundry room and back access to “nightclub” are found under the left wing of the house.

This is a wonderful and symmetrical Cape Town mansion by architect Luis F Mora. I like the rectangle minimalist front of the house with two floors of windows, two pools, two lamps at the entrance, a sliding front door, and a detached garage. I like the view of the lily pond, pool, and mountain from the foyer. I like the minimalist living room with the limestone fireplace. I like the first-floor bedroom with the bed facing the view. I like the minimalist bathroom. The huge Olympic size pool is awesome. I like the gray island kitchen and I like the huge table dining room. The buyer of this beautiful mansion can upgrade the natural stone of the bathrooms and kitchen with marble, granite, and quartz. I like the rainmaker, the zen garden, the bedroom spa, the jacuzzi, and the movie theater. The square plants garden is awesome. I like the office and the office gray marble bathroom. I like the left-wing bedroom with the bed facing the view and the bathroom. I like the left-wing bedroom with the balcony and the bedroom. I like the master bedroom, I like the master bathroom with the beautiful onyx shower and I like the master closet. I like the beautiful view of the mountain from the mansion. The front of the house is rectangular, and the back of the house design is divided into two sides

Awesome tour. South Africa is price friendly and a nice spot to live. In Germany you are not able to built such properties because of regulations and in the US for this property a least 25-30 Million. Maybe i move to South Africa one day.

This is one of the most unique houses I've ever seen. I don't even know if I like it. It's very interesting, but I'm not particularly fond of it, although, there are aspects of it that I abolsutely love, especially the outdoor areas. Again, really unique. Although I don't like every aspect of it (some of the design elements are just too dark, too monotone, too bland and that makes it ugly), I can sincerely appreciate all the work that went into designing and building it. I love this home, especially the tranquil vibe you get from it. The wine cellar is amazing, the pebbles give it that extra bit of something unique & different from other wine rooms. @@aliyahomes Right! It feels just a little monotonous and cave like in its current state, at least to my eyes. And I'm not completely against darker color schemes either. In the houses current state the interior does match the architecture, quite monolithic, but I'd also like to see a warm inviting interior design. Would be a great juxtaposition. Edit: Expanding on my discontent with the darker scheme. It just feels like the walls are absorbing the light instead of allowing it to flood the home. With expansive views like this I'd like to see more of that natural light bouncing off the walls. The transition from outdoors to indoors just seems a little stark. To each their own though and props to the architects and designers for building such a unique property.
