A frirnd of mine has never been to the statue or ellis island wednesday past we toured liberty she was like a big kid .we are planning to do the double tour in september when all the crowds are less

I LOVE LOVE LOVED Ellis Island and I really wish I had more time. By taking the ferry to both islands, you can really imagine what it was like for those people coming over, seeing that Statue of Liberty, and really hoping they passed all the tests!!! You guys will LOVE IT!

We were in the area for a cruise out of Cape Liberty, NJ before COVID. We got on the ferry, but it was so crowded that we didn't get off at the SofL. :(

One question - are we allowed to bring food and large water bottles onto the ferry (i.e. Hydroflask)? I'm thinking of having a light picnic there. :) Thank you so much!

Since I didn’t actually use a locker I’m not sure Big they are but I’m sure they would accommodate your needs- possibly letting you take it on the ferry for use on the island

We got ours ahead of time online. Be sure and go through the National park service website- it will link you to statue city cruises. There is a ticket office there as well if you’d rather buy on site.
