The ONLY people the Guards are allowed to speak to are the Gatesmen, and their colleagues in camouflage who bring the horses water in hot weather and check their tack and if it needs adjusting. The others are their superior officers and the MOD armed police officers. Talking to civilians Is against the rules. You cannot engage the guards in conversation. The guards are allowed to reprimand you by saying get out of the box.

Saw a little girl in one video whose parent told her to stand in the box, she refused as she knew it was wrong, showed she had MORE sense than the clown parent. Biggest majority of the children are very well behaved and obey the messages on the board. Just get the odd few who act like their self entitled parents, and from what I've seen they are from OUTSIDE my country which is the UK. My sons' are all adults now, but they would never have broken the rules and like those of other people's countries. It's the way we raised them to respect other countries, their laws and customs, something they still do today. So I DON'T hate children, have 3 of my own. Hate the parents who can't or won't teach them to respect the country they are visiting. That clear enough for you?

There is absolutely nothing 'poor ' about these horses. They are some of the best cared for working horses in the world and unlike the gatesmen and chitsmes, they are only on duty for one hour at a time. Please do your research before making derogatory comments.
