I too stayed in Dammam for one year and stayed in Alkhobar for six years working for an IT company. What beautiful memories i have of these two cities. Traveiing for picnics, shopping spree and such peaceful life as if there is no worry in this world. Saudi Arabia is such a peaceful and quiet country that no one will bother you ever for your living style, food habits or anything. I thank Allah the most beneficial and bountiful for the opportunity he provided for me to do Haj and Umrah too while working in Saudi Arabia. I still miss Saudi Arabia and hope to go for Umrah soon. Inshal Allah (Allah Willing). Ma Salamah as they say in Saudi Arabia which means peace be with you all.

Welcome to Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦💚 I have watched so many tourists on youtube who came to Saudi Arabia and all of them visited Riyadh and Jeddah but they all ignored the Eastern Province. I am very glad that you visited the Eastern Province because it's a very important and very beautiful place to be in especially if you visited Al Ahsa oasis or Al Hofuf city "the first train stop after Riyadh" because it is the oldest city in the Eastern Province ( more than 5000 years old), it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2018 and it was the Arab Capital of Tourism in 2019 because it has so many of natural and historical places such as: ( Al qara mountain, Al Asfar lake, the largest palm trees oasis in the world, Jawatha Mosque (1434 years old), Al Qaisariya souq ( 600 years old) , Ibrahim palace (500 years old), the first governmental Saudi school ( 81 years old), King Abdullah Environmental Park ( it has the largest dancing founten in the world) and a lot of small local museums, old mosques and old palaces). Thank you so much I enjoyed you videos and I hope you visit Saudi Arabia again and visit my home town "Al Ahsa 🌴" and sorry for my long comment

Welcome to the eastern province 😍! Dear tourists, Best city for tourism in Eastern Provence is Al Ahsa (Hofuf). Khobar and Dammam are beautiful but fully industrial and commercial. Al Ahsa (Hofuf) is rich with history, culture, and friendly people. It is the largest palm oasis in the Middle East. 1.5 hours from khobar & 3 hours from Riyadh. You will find different UNESCO world heritage sites there. An old Souq with so many handcrafted products, Forts that were built during the ottoman era, a pottery museum next to a uniquely-shaped cave, old schools, beautiful farms, many activities near the mountains. You can even rent your own desert camp or your own small farm for as cheap as a hotel room and throw a bbq party 😎. If you’re still in the eastern Provence let me know, I will personally give you a tour of my hometown.

Well, with regard to entering the mosque, i know now that it is acceptable to do so in Islam. To be honest , as a Saudi , i was not sure about this, so i did some research to find out. Maybe because we are new to the matter of tourism, we did not pay much attention to these scenarios before. I suspect because he never saw it before , he thought it was not the right thing to do, i hope he meant well. Don't worry if you make cultural mistakes, i still make them my self and i lived here all my life.
