When we traveled to Taiwan, having a 7-11 on the corner next to our hotel was a life saver for all sorts of things. I felt like we were in there twice a day for something to drink or a snack to bring back to the hotel.

The 7-11! We stopped by every morning, when we stayed in Tokyo, for my husband’s coffee and my green smoothie! The smooth machine was so cool! We rented a 100 year old house in Kyoto which had a full kitchen, so I got to cook. My first time using a rice cooker! I really enjoy going to grocery stores in other countries. You learn so much! Looking forward to the rest of the series.

We're so happy to hear your Japan trip was so special. The green smoothie machine at 7-11 is something else! And how cool you go to experience cooking for yourself!!!

It's so sweet you learned a bit of the language with Duolingo 😍 Seeing Asakusa my mind immediately wanders to that cream filled melon pan I had there. It was the best thing I ate on that whole trip

The Tourist Center in Asakusa was designed by the famous architect Kengo Kuma, who also did the Olympic Staduim.
