I love gadgets as much as anyone but as I get older I have come to realize that just because we can make certain products does not mean we should nor does it make them good. Our wisdom has not grown proportionally with our knowledge. My fingers work just fine and so cool as it may be I see no reason cordless electric precision bit driver should exist. For precision fasteners my hands and fingers work just fine and honestly it’s good exercise for hands and fingers. Look at it this way. Do we need technology and or a tool to replace everything we can do manually? Why ride around on an electric scooter if you can walk just fine? Where do we draw the line with our humanity vs technology?

C'est un principe qui existe manifestement, je dirais même naturellement, dans notre humanité. Qu'en pensez-vous ? These are interesting thoughts that deserve to be considered. So let's take the example of the wrench or the ratchet screwdriver. We have here a manual but a manual that favors the least effort (work). It is a principle that clearly exists, I would even say naturally, in our humanity. What do you think?

@@diezelle57- indeed. We should be mindful not to take all the “work” out of our work so to speak. Its the struggle and work that makes us stronger and connects us with humanity. Everything isn’t supposed to be easier. Struggle is also in Nature and has a purpose. I think an cordless electric precision screw driver swings the pendulum to far one direction for most practical applications of the average user. In a factory or mass production or repair setting it can be justified. On an individuals tech bench its just a novelty. Many small precision fasteners or better handled manually as they require more care and precision and a delicate touch thats only done by hand.
