Apart from the hectic crime and living in security complexes with electric fencing and security guards. There are also areas run by violent gangs. But it has some of the most beautiful scenic backdrop in the world, where the wealthy live. Also one on the world's biggest botanical gardens, which is also a world heritage site. Good nightlife, good restaurants, good prices, but have to be so vigilant about crime, I suppose the same could be said for Rio de Janeiro.

I appreciate the amount of effort it takes to produce a documentary like this. Some of the featured cities are remarkable. I would mention that Chiang Mai is also gateway to the Mae Hong Loop, a 600 KM loop run with 1864 curves and world class sport biking. I would additionally suggest checking out Qingdao, China, most people think it is one of China's three most beautiful cities. When the Olympic Sailing Center is lit up I can't think of another city that is more beautiful. Most Americans think of New York as the armpit of America, it does have some iconic attractions but if you've ever been there during a sanitation worker's strike, you would never want to go back.

I've been 14 so far. There are far more beautiful cities that aren't included on the list, Barcelona, Lisbon, Amsterdam, and Viena. I thinl Istanbul is the best one for me. Aside from the amazing history, architecture, and culinary experience, I think Turkish people are one of the nicest and most welcomeing people in my experience, at par with Filipinos and Mexicans.

I suppose they wanted to have cities of different types from different parts of Earth and the most popular ones. But it seems they haven’t formulated the criteria. I don’t understand how can be on the one list such big cities like New York, Istanbul or Rio and small medieval Dubrovnik or Brugge. Besides Dubrovnik is romantic and popular after “Games of Thrones” but Croatian Split is much more interesting because the medieval town was built inside the Dioclecletian palace (ancient Roman) which is quite unique. I suppose this video should be considered not like Top-30 but just like a collection of beautiful views from different parts of the world.

There are countries, that are not costly to visit, e.g. my wife and myself spent 3 months in India and we spent only 7€ / person / day for accomodation, food, travelling (local transport), a few entrance fees, and souveniers. I think, that you need more per day at home, isn't it? We are not luxury travellers and need only a simple room, local food and take local buses, trains. By the way, i owned a travel agencay and now i am travel advisor; so i know how to travel on a budget. I hope, that answers your questions

Been to Hoi An, Luang Prabang and Chiang Mai myself. Though there are undeniably beautiful spots in all those places, I don't think they are more beautiful than places like Florence, Budapest or the lovely German town of Rothenburg ob Der Tauber.

A great 👍 video but you could of easily added another 30 cities to your list. One of my most favorite cities in the world 🌎 didn't make your list, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I went there and couldn't leave I ended up spending 10 years there and enjoyed every moment. Also Havana Cuba was just as good but I only spent 30 days in Havana.
