There are lots of spectacular location cities, Rio, Sydney, Hong Kong etc, but when it comes to beauty it's only European cities. The rest of the world has too many skyscrapers and modern buildings which might be functional, but they're ugly.

I agree. When I was there, what struck me was how depressing all the grey and brown buildings seemed. Hardly a colorful, light-filled place except for Times Square which is more gaudy than beautiful.

I suppose they wanted to have cities of different types from different parts of Earth and the most popular ones. But it seems they haven’t formulated the criteria. I don’t understand how can be on the one list such big cities like New York, Istanbul or Rio and small medieval Dubrovnik or Brugge. Besides Dubrovnik is romantic and popular after “Games of Thrones” but Croatian Split is much more interesting because the medieval town was built inside the Dioclecletian palace (ancient Roman) which is quite unique. I suppose this video should be considered not like Top-30 but just like a collection of beautiful views from different parts of the world.

Apart from the hectic crime and living in security complexes with electric fencing and security guards. There are also areas run by violent gangs. But it has some of the most beautiful scenic backdrop in the world, where the wealthy live. Also one on the world's biggest botanical gardens, which is also a world heritage site. Good nightlife, good restaurants, good prices, but have to be so vigilant about crime, I suppose the same could be said for Rio de Janeiro.

A great 👍 video but you could of easily added another 30 cities to your list. One of my most favorite cities in the world 🌎 didn't make your list, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I went there and couldn't leave I ended up spending 10 years there and enjoyed every moment. Also Havana Cuba was just as good but I only spent 30 days in Havana.

I appreciate the amount of effort it takes to produce a documentary like this. Some of the featured cities are remarkable. I would mention that Chiang Mai is also gateway to the Mae Hong Loop, a 600 KM loop run with 1864 curves and world class sport biking. I would additionally suggest checking out Qingdao, China, most people think it is one of China's three most beautiful cities. When the Olympic Sailing Center is lit up I can't think of another city that is more beautiful. Most Americans think of New York as the armpit of America, it does have some iconic attractions but if you've ever been there during a sanitation worker's strike, you would never want to go back.

My favourites by ranking are; 1- S I N G A P O R E 2- S Y D N E Y 3- S A N F R A N C I S C O 4- R I O 5- L I S B O N 6- I S T A N B U L 7- H O N G K O N G European cities are beautiful by history but boring by nature and city life. US cities are totally boring and nothing special over there. Canadian cities are beautiful by nature but doesn't have a soul or identity, Asian cities are beautiful by their authenticity and oriental culture but too crowded, African cities are beautiful by nature but messy.

Copacabana Beach is NOT in Guanabara Bay. It is on the open sea. Guanabara Bay extends from Urca, through Botafogo, downtown (where many old beaches have had their land reclaimed), past the port, Ramos, Paquetá Island, out to Magé and round to Niterói on the other side.
