I can't believe it's only been 9 years I've had her voice in my head. I don't usually love when artists "grow up" and release an album that ends up feeling so much more adult. I love this one. I love the fact that what I see in her videos is a representation of a normal, relatable female body, and not the hardly realistic "big butt, big bust, small waist, thin" stereotype by which we are constantly bombarded with. She's so authentic both in her looks, as well as in her lyrics/music. The whole album is great, it's honest, it has an idea behind it. She and her music is/are very inspiring.

Amen for Suburbia. I hate just because I’m a woman I’m perceived as some incubator. I’m a human and don’t want kids. I don’t want to get married. I surly don’t want to be ‘given away’ by anyone as I’m not property. Let us live! Right on, Tove Lo❤ Edit: I do have to mention I still love weddings as they are full of love. I swear Tove lo also has non conforming single Moms in her heart because her music has got me through some patches! So unapologetically authentic❤! The pressure is even worse if your a single parent! To settle down, buy that house! I’ve learned I do best with a lot a fun friends, close friends and sometimes a romantic friend as my support network. I got a lot of criticism that he needed the structure of a partnered home, stricter etc but, I always gave him voice in our decisions and a say. My son is now 16, absolutely the coolest person I know! Respectful, kind, makes wise friend choices, has solid boundaries, stays out of trouble, doing great in School! We’re best buds and a team! It’s literally the ultimate fuck you to ALL the criticism!
