Where does it say in tanak to look for a human sacrifice to atone for your sins. When God looks at human sacrifice as an abomination, and Ezekiel 18 says that the way to repent is to stop breaking the law and start obeying it. He hates the shedding of innocent blood and says that the righteous will not suffer for the sins of the wicked? Everything in Christianity is like the rebellious child trying to tell their friends not to worry about their strict fathers rules of the house and that his ways are too hard and unrealistic. The actually prophecies are that there is only one coming, that the law would be made known to all, that All would know Hashem, world wide peace, temple restored, sacrifice resumed. None of that has happened.

I love KZbin. I learn so much. I am a Christian and was very happy to put my faith up for grabs by listening with an open mind to the views in this video. I am grateful to say that my faith was not moved one iota, but it has educated me enormously about the anti Christian sentiment that exists among Jews, which I have never understood. Now I do. I have never met a Christian who has read the New Testament and concluded that the Jews are collectively to blame for the death of Jesus. How dumb would that be? Our love for the Jews comes from the Lord calling the Jews as the Chosen people; that Jesus as the prophesied Messiah was a devout Jew who grew up in a family of devout Jews, whose apostles and disciples and early converts were almost all Jews. We respect the covenants made between the LORD and Adam, Abraham and Moses; as well as the Christian covenant. With the demonic persecutions of the Jews over the millennia, I don't suppose we can blame the Jews for having a victim mentality, but your concerns that Christians blame all Jews for the death of Jesus is just ridiculous. Just as the role of the Jewish heirachy 2000 years ago does not reflects on all of Juadaism, neither does the racist rants of some children in New York on Good Friday reflect on all Christianity; it reflects poorly on their parents. Jesus did not come to bring down Judaism, but to fulfill prophesy. I am not going to argue against the scriptural interpretations by Rabbi Tovia, as it would take too long and I am no expert. (Although I would have to say that having someone nodding vigorously in the background doesn't improve the substance of the argument, and flashing really quickly the texts that supposedly show that Isaiah 53, for example, is quoted out of context, don't seem to hold any substance when you actually pause and read them- but as I say, I am no expert). I would however encourage anyone on a journey seeking truth to consider the philosophical/ physics arguments about reductionism vs emergence. That is, in essence, discern Jesus by His fruits, ( not by the misdeeds of those who purport to act in His name; or by looking at the prophesies myopically and saying they could mean all sorts of things). Also, capacity for evil does not run between people; it runs through all of us. Some Jews did have Jesus put to death. Some Catholics and other Christians have been antisemitic. I do not accept that the New Testament teaches antisemitism. The pragmatism towards Roman authority, was best dealt with by Jesus when He said 'Render to Caesar that which Caesars and render to Me that which is mine'. May Almighty God show us all the Truth and allow us all to live in peace, love and harmony. May we all receive the fullness of His Kingdom through discernment of true faith.

You generally captured my thoughts and feelings I have after watching the entire video. I mean...steel man argument would have been good faith. But the straw man remarks, red herrings, and galactic-sized generalizations in the talk was troubling. I've been a Christian since I was 5-years old. I've read my Bible many times and never concluded Jew hatred. I have consistently understood that Jesus specifically took issue with the religious leaders of day during His earthly ministry. And the most impossible aspect is you can't crucify Jesus more than once. How can one blame Jews throughout every subsequent generation for what one small subset committed? Isn't this obvious!? What new testament scripture could one site that says that every believer in Christ is justified in hating and persecuting every Jew with impunity for the sin of a specific generation thousands of years ago? It has that Woke "white fragility" vibe that blames all living white people for racism and says that they are inherently racist and unredeemable. It seems the Rabbi is paternalistically insinuating that Christians are either ignorant or wantonly antisemitic based on his special knowledge of Torah. (A gnostic-ish angle by the way). That's my takeaway from this video. Like the irony of Wokeism, it seems the rabbi is doing what he is accusing Christians of perpetuating as though it were "unconscious bias" that we can never overcome. But it's my understanding that Torah says that we all sin and need Hashem's mercy and grace. You don't need the new testament to know that. The talk bears the markers of wokeism hiding in plain sight. So, my question for the Rabbi: Is this video from a place of agape or spite? The issue of Jesus' day was sin and the time of the first advent of the Messiah Periodt. lol (believe it or not...we all adults...do it or don't...too easy...I guess that's partly just my US Army NCO mentality). Jew or Greek, we need to be redeemed. Sin is that great equalizer that puts us all on our face before a holy God as if dead. Christians who took it upon themselves to think they were scoring points by blaming their Jewish contemporaries for Christ’s crucifixion because they’re Jewish despite that Jesus intentionally made no self-defense before the Sanhedrin, well, that's on those Christians for failing to emulate our Savior. Charity and Justice are one and the same and a two-way street. Hence, why I question the tenor of this video. I'm disappointed in the participants in this video on violated principles and bad faith arguments that weren't arguments.

I’ve read all of Isaiah in context and I’m still a Christian. You ignore the fact isaiah 49-54 are no longer talking about Israel but are talking about a singular righteous person that will redeem Israel and gentiles. It’s amazing the amount of hoops you have to jump through and twisting of the text you have to do to not see this is clearly talking about Jesus. Wise disciple here on KZbin went through all of this and even discussed an Old Testament prophet that saw these passages as being a singular person. Showing Tovia’s view to not be what people believed at the time of those prophecies.

I dunno. IT sounds like it's talking abou ta martyr but if it allude sback to ISrael as the servent it kind of makes sense as apoprhecy. But also if you leave behing just Isiah you gotta look at the whole problem of Jesus being born when the temple stood, not saving anyone, and then other weird things like why did he come back just to leave again? The more I look into it the more it seems that the christian mythology has alot other interesting stuff baked into it but certainly split from Judaic thought. Thanks to your post I went and read the last four books...and I utterly don't get how you see Jesus as the savior at all in this. "Thus says the LORD: "As the new wine is found in the cluster, and they say, 'Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,' so I will do for my servants' sake, and not destroy them all." "They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands." "And some of them also I will take for priests and for Levites, says the LORD. "For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your offspring and your name remain." I mean it Just seems that god is telling the righteous Jews it will allright. Not hey let's make a new religion with pagan ideas

@@RunesandReapers so in the Isiah prophecies it starts out with prophecies of Israel them towards the end narrows in on one man who will suffer and die for the sins of all and bring all people to the one true living God. It’s not ambiguous it’s pretty clear. Also the conquering king messiah is the one that would rule for a thousand years not the suffering servant messiah. The suffering servant would bring down the kingdom of heaven so that we may make this world a better place through Christ just as we have done. Christianity drastically changed the world and made the west everything great that we love and the left hates. So the suffering servant, messiah ben Joseph, was never meant to stay. Just guide us to the next step in our growth towards God’s plan. Not just that Jesus stayed for months after his resurrection and appeared to over 500 people before he ascended to prepare a place for us. He also had to leave so the Holy Spirit or the spirit of the lord could come down and dwell within us to help our sanctification instead of dwelling behind a curtain inside the temple. He will come back as messiah Ben David during the end times. Where he will remake the universe. Which is one of the very passages you gave in your comment. And your right God is telling Jews they will be alright Jews are still Gods chosen people. Jesus was Jewish and came to fulfill the law not abolish it which refers directly to the other passages you stated. It is also prophesied the Jews will come back to God through Jesus which is why there is a massive growth in messianic Jews since the 1980’s. Look into their stuff they have great answers from a Jewish perspective. Also quick fact Daniel said the messiah would put a pause on temple sacrifices and Jesus predicted the second temple destruction. I don’t find that to be a coincidence. Too much of the Torah prophecies line up with Christ. Jesus may not have liberated Israel but that’s not what the prophecies stated nor did it state the temple had to be gone when he came, but he saved millions and changed the entire world through the salvation from sin and the bringing of the kingdom of heaven. So he saved way more than you think. Finally Christianity is perfectly in line with ancient Jewish thought. Ancient Jews believed God was multipersonal but one God, they believed there were 2 messianic figure in the prophecies as I stated above, the OT talks of the angel of the lord called God who is Jesus, the spirit of the lord which is the Holy Spirit and God the father. It’s the anti-Christian Talmud that walked away from ancient Judaism to combat Christianity making it almost completely different than what Judaism really is. Check out one for Israel to see what I mean. They are honest, unlike Singer, and they give all the answers you could want from a Jewish perspective.

I am a Christian and rushed to listen to this video because of its daring title. I am not afraid of the truth and therefore was very willing to stake my faith by watching and listening with an open mind, ready and prepared to learn and perhaps discover compelling evidence to question my belief of nearly 5 decades. I am happy to say that I am one of those Christians that don’t just rely on what I am taught by clergies and church leaders but also engage in the practice of actively reading THE ENTIRE BIBLE by myself. I can say, however, that I still remain a Christian. Contrary to the Rabbi’s assertion, I still firmly believe that the entire book of Isaiah (not just 1 chapter or a handful of them) read as a whole in context, speaks about Christ, even though it still refers to Israel as a nation in some sense. While I do not discountenance the Rabbi’s sour experience with the Christians he had encountered and the actions of other Christians through history, I struggle to grasp how the New Testament programmes Christians to be anti-Semitic. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Maybe I don’t know many people but I have not met any Christian that is anti-Semitic. Most churches I know love Israel to the death; have the flag of Israel in the background of their pulpit; pray wholeheartedly and consistently for Israel. Suffice it to say that even Muslims who hate Jews and Israel with every fibre of their being, when thy convert to Christianity automatically love Israel, and that is not in spite of but because of the teachings of the New Testament. The following few references point to this fact: Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. (Romans 10:1) I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (Romans 11:1) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, And shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: (Romans 11:26) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. (Revelations 7:4) And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: (Revelations 22:12) Again, the New Testament does not in any way insinuate that Jews should be begrudged for Jesus’ Crucifixion. If anything, Jesus Himself on the Cross prayed thus for those that sent Him there: “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34). Recall that He had earlier taught His followers to forgive seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21,22). It is not unusual for the Rabbi to read the New Testament with the lenses of narrow-mindedness and preconceived hate but to come out with the conclusion that it promotes, nay, teaches anti-Semitism is very ridiculous, to say the least.

I think you should stop listening to pastors for a little bit and go through this Rabbis material as well as rabbi Michael Skoback.. mike used to be a devout Christian, and wanted to be a pastor. And also New Testament scholar Bart Ehrman.. study textual criticism in the New Testament, which basically tries to find the truth of the earliest manuscripts. We have leading up to what we have today, and compare his contradictions errors and lies. Because you have to come to the conclusion that why are there lies in the Bible and if they lied about this what else did they lie about? … it’s not an easy thing to do because we get comfortable and our beliefs and our feelings but if you’re just strictly after the truth, then it’ll get interesting I was somebody who took the Bible as perfect without air. God breathed you know things I’ve heard many pastors say I was a real zealous Christian until I actually open myself up to the stuff and I saw errors and now I can’t say it’s perfect anymore and that was a huge step for me.

Christians, recognizing that this chapter speaks of the Messiah and the messianic age attempt to apply it to Jesus. But, for this passage to have any connection to the life of Jesus it would need to be referring to his so-called first coming, and that is not the case. This prophecy concerns the “shoot” coming “out of the stock of David,” which would refer to the Messiah’s ancestry at the time of his birth not at a supposed second coming. And it should be noted that Davidic ancestry in general and lineal descent from the regal line in particular is not firmly established for Jesus by the pertinent New Testament narratives. This presents a serious problem for the Christian interpretation of Isaiah 11. This chapter, which Christians identify with Jesus, gives a very positive and widely accepted leadership portrait of the individual described. It stands in stark contrast to the portrayal of the suffering servant of Isaiah 53:1-2, who Christians also identify with Jesus. The servant is portrayed in difficult circumstances, from his very beginning. Now, if Isaiah’s two prophecies (11:1 and 53:1-2) are both applied to Jesus, they would have to refer to his so-called first coming and this leads to an irreconcilable contradiction. The respective passages simply could not both be referring to one person and are mutually exclusive of each other. Some Christians divide this passage into two separate periods, one during Jesus’ lifetime and the other after his supposed future return following his death. Nonetheless, it is apparent that there is but one “coming” indicated in the passage. This is confirmed by verse 10 where all the events listed in verses 2-9 occur. There the individual spoken of is called, “a shoot of the stock of Jesse,” and typical of biblical poetic style parallel to this he is called “a branch out of his [Jesse’s] roots shall bear fruit.” This can only refer to one’s earthly existence and not to a supposedly resurrected divine being coming back at some future date. Christians claim that Jesus appeared first to offer a means of salvation for mankind. They then claim that he will return a second time, at which time he is supposed to judge and rule the world. This Christian explanation, however, has nothing in common with the text of Isaiah 11. The subject of this passage is not portrayed as a resurrected divine being returning to earth as its judge and king.

❤In the beginning there was one energy that split down the middle one side was positive energy the other was negative energy. Whoosh all planets an water vegetation heaven an hell was formed. One energy was Melchizedek the other was God Melchizedek could create humans but God could only create spirits. They figured out human emotions were powerful energy. Human worshippers emotions were over powered. They helped build pyramids and structures geometrically perfect all over the world to create earth magnetic pull. To extract human emotions. God wanted all the power to himself so he used the weapon on Melchizedek and turned him into the purple flame. God put the purple flame in the moon to enhance emotions even more. That's why the moon glows. I'm a atheist just like you because I know for a fact that God an the devil don't exist. Because I destroyed them they were both negative energy. Jesus an I are the last 2 standing ❤So the devil tricked God into testing Job. The devil argument was u let me test Job what about the rest of the humans. 2 weeks worth of negative energy was allowed to enter the body. Living a thousand years to what we can live now because negative energy rots the body causes all illnesses. So dreams were allowed to take away negative energy a dream for a day. Even a preacher that stays up past the witching hour 11 dream can b messed with. Cain Mark that God put on him being the first black man. Think about those that don't dream. Negative energy pushes our positive energy down to our butt and upper thighs that why no harm is ever there Our positive energy only surfaces if the body is in trauma . Shock what ever you want to call it. That's how magic was made. People would be tortured in water to keep the shock constant with negative prayers. Someone or a group could bind the positive energy to there will. I stopped that to no more magic ❤The fallen Angels figure out how to trap a soul in a diamond box. They built a giant diamond box and shot it into lower orbit. With there care system they gathered up 100 of thousands of babies. It was going to be the biggest sacrifice in man kind history of course they would eat them. There souls would go up an get trapped in the giant diamond box. Souls are recycled through heaven so it would be a matter of time before heaven was emptied. I stopped it with seconds to spare. Jesus didn't think I would be able to stop it so he took a renowned black preacher in the last minute by car wreck. It's ironic what they named the box The Web ❤When the devil took a third of heaven Enoch went with him. Enoch figured out true quantum about 60 years ago so the devil put a diamond chip in all his crew right hand and put them through the quantum machine. It would pick what they would look like an enhance certain abilities. Bam super heroes an villains were born . Enoch was the red skull an the devil was Thanos the devil would never put himself through the quantum machine because he would loose his angel of light. In the valley of death we're he wasn't allowed to take any children under the age of puberty. Unless hey little boy or girl wouldn't you like to be a spider man or woman look how colorful we are. When they sign on the dotted line. Bam in the quantum machine an it would pick what they would be. Then they were forced to fight in the fifth dimension arenas were I rose through the ranks battling hulk's an supermen. Once I asked the devil before I ripped his soul out. I said what would you do if you win an get my power. His exact words were I would turn myself into Galactus and destroy this universe an create a new one. I said that sounds lonely ❤Why are there so many mirrors in space on all space crap. A mirror is a portal for demons. Not all mirrors just the ones that reflection of a sacrifice. Then demons uncleaned spirit what ever you call them would be summoned to help. I stopped that to no more demons or uncleaned spirits ❤end game supermen an women no babies all babies will start at 7 years old and grow up tell there 33.all over 33 will become 33.Thoes that have true (compassion for your fellow man) will be allowed to pick yr body type an shape. Man or woman are equal. Up to 12 in a Herm man or woman's. Are allowed. Some will be able to leave earth and visit heaven or stay. Governing system those that loose true compassion for your fellow man. Will loose power and have to eat an crap again and live out there speck of existence ❤When we are born our aura is always purple celestrial because we are recycled through heaven. A baby is as close to a angel as it gets. Then there is blue aura true compassion for your fellow man. All blue aura automatically goes to heaven. Then there is orange aura confrontational with fellow man all orange aura waiting for judgement day. Then there is red aura judge and jury to fellow man all red aura automatically goes to hell. Then there black aura executioner to fellow man to bad for hell all black aura automatically goes to the abyss where they come out like locust in the end. Our emotions are judged by are aura love at the top an hate at the other. Negative energy is 3 times more powerful than positive energy so we have to do three good to one bad to stay balanced. When we get close to red aura hell actually orange level 8. Sorrow is put into our lives to keep us out the red hell. The devil puts fear in our lives to counter. Big war goes on over the soul. It's better to have no arms no legs paralyzed and can't talk an make it into heaven because we get our warrior body back ❤No one has to believe in a god to make it through . (True compassion for your fellow man is enough). But believing in Jesus will reset yr aura back to purple celestrial ❤I share a god with many names. I call him Jesus or J for short. All he wants is true compassion for your fellow man. Because without that how are we to be together. Someone always looking for power. Or something over the other. There will be quantum food machines. Just think what u want. Like now think about in yr mind say yes I want to know. I will feel yr thoughts an release the truth. In Jesus name if seemed harder an knocked harder than u could imagine. So that I got the attention of the fallen Angels illuminati aka aliens NASA what ever you want to call them. An there creater D himself. To where he an Enoch put the chalidlen red evil warrior planet. Shrunk it down in the micro dimension an put it inside me . Because you keep what you kill universal rule. So he didn't know if I was good or bad because I had no aura an I was once saved an fell away. I did take the Elijah spirit from heaven. So the devil wanted my power. With the red planet in me he knew I couldn't be good. Rise of the red planet. I can speak chalidlen to the sun an wind it obey me. ❤A few years ago the fallen Angels gathered up scientists from around the world to go to Antarctica under sworn secrecy. Everyone thought they found a portal but they found that years before. In middle earth, first heaven, paradise what ever you want to call it. I call it paradise. Were the floor is glass and the Sea is under the sky is above. How this u say because gravity is reversed. Were Elon 40 satellites were destroyed an my final battle with the fallen Angels was. My rule is no satellites an no shoes on the seacret floor. The portal could take u to the 8 planets I stopped that to it wasn't very big. No the scientist were gathered for another reason. When God flooded the world because of the Giants breath was hurting his angels. Gods last act before leaving was flood an leave. 10 giants were flash froze and the fallen Angels needed help bringing them back. Success the thin line chemtrails are true giants breath. I stopped that to no more chemtrails We always been the prey Those that rejects the power not the god will enter trials and tribulation. ❤So after the red planet was put in me. An I had the Elijah spirit. The devil wanted to test me He sent a tin can full of fallen angels an big foots. I destroyed them all but not with out a price. The Elijah spirit ten thousand fall to yr right and ten thousand fall to yr left not a hair on yr head will be harmed. Not for me. I got 167 stitches broken back doc still can't believe I'm walking a paralyzed left hand. The fallen could turn back time a few hours. I stopped that to. They brought back the fallen Angels but they couldn't bring back the big foots. Left me to be bay flighted into Louisville hospital. So I took 17 prayers and made them 1.thin I took 15 prayers and made them 1 I took both prayers 33 in all an made them 1 two minute prayer so powerful I gave back the Elijah spirit an flow I took from heaven. Even the numbers 17 an 15 are powerful. If u say 17. 15. In yr mind repeatedly for 20 seconds . 4 hours of negative energy will creep out yr feet. I can even agree 100% with the rabbi and still be a Christian, the servant if “righteous Israel” was the messianic Jews who saw Christ for who he was and accepted the truth thus became Christian and by those Christian’s was all the nations blessed by the spread of the everlasting gospel, and since Jesus was also a Jew he is also the servant, even more so Christ is the head of the church and we saved Christian’s are the body, thus even if I agree with the rabbi, true Israel wasn’t the one who rejected Christ but it’s those who have accepted Christ through his blood ”For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.“ ‭‭Romans‬ ‭2‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

@@desertsand8778 Yes, according to the text, it’s referring to Isarel. O Isarel I will save you from afar. Christianity took a certain portion of scripture, and didn’t exigete text properly. No where in Isaiah 53, it’s talking about Jesus. Rabbi Singer’s interpretation of the scriptures do not align with the interpretation of the Holy Spirit. This is not the first time his interpretation off. Isaiah 53:9 says: “And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.” Rabbi Singer interprets Isaiah 53 to mean Israel or Jacob. But when did Israel “had no violence”? Or when was Israel or Jacob “without deceit in his mouth”? Based on this alone, I wouldn’t take him as authority to interpret the scriptures. The Holy Spirit is the perfect interpreter.

I spent 3 decades in Christianity and (yes it's my own fault for not questioning MORE than I did) had I had this mans teaching available I wouldn't have stayed as long! Christians are many if not most times just told what a certain passage means by a preacher (who we trusted to know what he was talking about) to teach us. Imagine my shock 6 years ago when my questions got to be too many for most pastors. I left Christiany. Found Judaism! I'm not Jewish I a Noahide. I cannot say this enough time's. I was raised catholic, went to church regularly prayed the rosary almost daily. wanted to be a priest most of my youth. After a family tragedy in my early 30's I really started to pay attention to rabbis like Tovia. It still amazes me that it took another 15 years for me to admit, would be the best word to use here, that the church was wrong. One day I told my wife and she was ok with it and we have worked it out just fine. She will remain catholic but then again she never believed Jesus is god like most Catholics, and that helped. I cannot covert because she is catholic but I am Noahide, study the torah daily. For us gentiles I do not know how important it is what belief you have as long as you follow the 10 commandments and treat others well, I will leave that to the rabbis to decide. I am very grateful to Tovia and the many others who freely give their time and knowledge trying to help others learn what the torah teaches about god and what he would like mankind to learn and be like. Christians have no idea what they are missing and it's all right there in the first half of their bible.

The authenticity of Moses is based on the public revelation at Sinai: God revealed Himself to the entire nation of Israel, at least three million people, and proclaimed before them the Ten Commandments. The entire Jewish people personally experienced that revelation, each individual in effect becoming a prophet, and each one verifying the experience of the other. With their own eyes they saw, and with their own ears they heard, as the Divine voice spoke to them, and also they heard God saying, "Moses, Moses, go tell them the following ..." They did not receive the occurrence of that event and accept it as some claim or tradition of an individual, but they experienced it themselves. That public revelation, therefore, authenticated the bona fide status of Moses as a prophet of God, and the Divine origin of the instructions he recorded in the Torah. That, and that alone, is the criterion for the belief in, and acceptance of, Moses and his teachings.

How would a Chinese person know that he resurrected Lazarus? But, he will know when the nations beat their swords into plowsheares. What would an Indian care if he heals one lame dude 2000 years ago? Shalom Rabbi Singer. I was a devout Catholic practicing Roman Catholic, studying the Catholic Bible, Catholic Catechism, praying praying the rosary often, prayed novenas, celebrating Jesus Christ, Mary, and most saints (IDOLATRY), like GOD really needs help. A lot of lies, brainwashing, etc. I was also discriminated and ganged up on for being Catholic by many a protestant. Too much hate in Christianity. I want only GOD because when I pray to God there's extreme peace. There was a lot that I felt was against God. Such as changing the Holy Sabbath from Friday night to Sunday by certain individuals; Constantine, Eusebius, and other so called bishops. This is what they said, " All things whatsoever that it was a duty to do on the Sabbath (the seventh day of the week), have transferred the Lord's day". I didn't see anywhere that Jesus Christ himself ordained this. I was horrified when I read this. I wanted to share this with you so you will know what else has been changed from the true law of GOD. For a month now, I have been studying the the Torah and Tenak, and Shema daily so I can convert to the true teaching of Adonia, Hashem. I felt a sense of freedom that I had never felt before. Thank you for having the courage to reveal what is really going on in Christian teachings.

You seem very bright, I’m going to tell you something that a lot of people couldn’t and see if you can refute it. September 11, 3 BC. The calendar of The Dead Sea Scrolls calendar says that day was the day the tribes of Levi and Judah made wood offerings to the Deity. Rabbi Bentzion Gronner, Director of Chabad Charlotte said that this is the day man was created on the 6th day, thus Rosh Hashanah. Psalm 19:1 On September 11, 3 BC was the night something happened in the skies. The Jupiter-Regulus conjunction occurred that night. Regulus- King of the stars Jupiter- King of the planets The Jupiter-Regulus conjunction which occurred happened in the constellation of Leo, i.e. Judah, the scepter shall never depart from Judah. Leo with its 12 stars crowned Virgo, i.e. the Virgin. The sun passed through her head/neck making her pregnant with the sun and the moon towards her feet. On the Babylonian Ishtar gate, the scorpion tale is the defining characteristic of the dragon. Right at Virgo’s feet was scorpio, the dragon with Antares the red giant as the brightest star of scorpio. September 11 is also the day Noah was born. Do you understand? The star of Bethlehem shone forth the day David’s line ascended the throne of Israel. The lights were created the 4th day, you have 4 references to King all on the that Jesus was born, not December 25. The heavens declare the glory of God, Jesus and Noah share a birthday. Let that sink in.

Isaiah is mostly future prophecy about the end times. 41:8-9, 49:3, 48:20- my servant Jacob or Israel is tied into Zechariah 13:8-9. He is referencing the final one-third that will survive the beast system as you bring up in Daniel chapter 7. The one-third that make it out of Israel and into Petra, after the peace treaty fails, will be supernaturally protected by God until Zechariah 12:10-14 is fulfilled by those people. The Jewish people during the days of Jesus didn't want to accept salvation is also for the entire world because the Jewish people worshipped the Living Truest God the Most High the Holy One while the rest of the world worshipped gold and silver and statues and the Sun and the Moon and the stars. As a true Christian it's impossible for me to be antisemitic.

This is sad. Like so, so sad. Embarrassingly sad how weak this case is. Any Christian shaken by this is: "a reed in the wind." Jesus is the fulfillment of the purpose of Israel. He has become the True Light on the Hill that Israel represents. He is the individually elect and our corporate identity. He IS Israel and the fulfillment of the archetype of Adam, Joseph, Isaac, Abraham, etc. Who is the King of Israel? (1 Samuel 8:7 Stone Edition Tanach) Always and forever He is King. Will He ever give His throne to another? (Psalm 9 Stone Edition). But HASHEM listens to Israel and promises them a King in the flesh (1 Samuel 8:19:22 Stone Edition). How does HASHEM never leave His throne and dwell there forever while also abiding His promise to give them a permanent and never-ending King of flesh? Sounds a lot like the Trinity and the Messianic King to me.

This is not a new argument from Jewish scholars. The big problem with Mr. Singer's claim that the servant of God spoken of in Isaiah 53 is the people of Israel...read verse 8 of the chapter and you will see why Christians understand the servant is the Messiah. "...for the transgression of MY PEOPLE was HE stricken." We know "my people" refers to the Jews. If that's so, the servant, the "he" in many of the verses, cannot be the Jews as well. You have to be really deluded to believe God's servant in this specific chapter refers to God's chosen people when it clearly states this person will suffer for the sins of God's people. This is not an argument against Christianity; it only proves this is the prophecy of the Messiah. In verse 10 "...though shalt make his soul an offering for sin..." Verse 12 "...he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." HOW can you NOT see the clarity of the prophecy?...unless you keep your eyes closed.

The book of Daniel is divided into two sections: 1) Chapters 1-6 are historical. 2) Chapters 7-12 are prophetical The vision of the four wild beasts corresponds to Nebuchadnezzar's dream in chapter 2. Neb's dream is from man's perspective. The vision of the four wild beasts is from God's perspective. The vision of the four wild beasts introduces the person known as the Anti-Christ (the final one). The Great Sea is the Mediterranean Sea but it represents the Gentile nations. These four beasts coming up out of the sea correspond with the four empires in Neb's dream. The lion was a symbol of ancient Babylon; the first Empire (actually the third that oppressed Israel as a people group, the Assyrians and Egyptians were before Babylon). The second beast was like a bear which is a perfect description of the Medo/Persian empire. It overthrew other nations by hurling vast masses of troops against them. The third beast, the leopard, is the Grecian Empire. The beast has four heads. After Alexander the Great dies, the Empire was divided among his four generals. The fourth beast represents the Roman Empire. The iron teeth correspond to the iron legs of the image or statue in Neb's dream. The 10 horns are the 10 nation confederacy of the Revived Roman Empire (the 7th and final Gentile kingdom to oppress Israel). The King that comes from this empire is the final Anti-Christ. This is the little horn. He will speak against the Most High. He will put an end to the sacrifices at the third Temple. He will oppress the nation of Israel for 3.5 years. But Daniel 7:26 gives hope. The court will sit and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. This will end the Time of the Gentiles. NO longer will the Jewish nation be subject to Gentile powers. Daniel 7:10 describes a river of fire flowing from before God. It is a river of fire because it is judgment time for the Gentile nations. All those nations fighting against Israel in the last days are just storing up judgment against them. Justice is coming!

I have been a christian for 50 years going strong. There is nothing that anyone can throw at me and crumble my faith, not even reading those verses from Isaiah. We accept the evidence and writings in the New Testament to believe that christianity is not of human origin but from the Almighty and that is the truth. Rabbi Singer and guest can pad themselves on their mutual backs and feel that they defeated christianity with their opinions and unbelief but that has not happened. Jesus claimed to be the Messiah in various occasions such as John 4:26 where he testified to the samaritan woman that he was the Messiah. The account of Peter also, where Peter said to Jesus, “ you are the christ, the son of the living God”, so we do not need Old Testament scripture to sustain us in our faith. The apostle Paul also, testified that Jesus was the son of God and also Peter in the sermon he gave at Pentecost. Acts 2 :36 says “ Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him, both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified”. The Jewish authorities and those who shouted “crucify him, crucify him” put pressure on Pilote to crucify Jesus. I strongly oppose those who are so ignorant to attribute the death of Jesus to every Jew that has existed, and do not think that all christians have believed this lie, only those who are wolves in sheep clothing who have pushed this agenda, no true christian would contemplate this way of thinking.

I understand where you are coming from, but your arguments are no different than Mormons against traditional Christianity. Your argument does not want to admit that what you have learned is flawed. I get it and have been there. There is a lot that proves Jesus is not the Messiah. If you really dive into what the Messiah will do and how the world will be when the Messiah comes, you will find that it is a rather easy argument to prove. The fact is the Messiah will bring world peace, and nobody will deny that he is the Messiah. The single fact that anyone in the world doubts Jesus is the Messiah is proof Jesus is not the Messiah. NOBODY WILL DENY IT. A second coming has been played many, many times before Jesus and many, many times after Jesus. The talk of a second coming is confession of not being a true Messiah. Christianity and Islam have made the world prepared to accept the God of Israel. They are the lost children.

Atheist here, I enjoy Rabbi Singer’s intellect and commentary. He is very knowledgeable about christanity. I love the way he eviscerates unprepared non Jews. That being said, he has huge blinders for Judaism. He never turns his critical thinking on his own religion. It really feels like he just ‘assumes’ Hebrew scripture is true and the word of god. IMHO all scripture is subject to human error. Every christian and Jewish book was written decades to centuries after the events. Rabbi makes the same mistake as all apologists: they turn a critical eye to other religions, yet seemingly assume their trade on is true.

Isaiah 53 depicts the servant whose wounds bring healing, a direct parallel to Jesus Christ's sacrificial death (Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24). Daniel 7:13-14 foretells the "son of man" receiving everlasting dominion, a vision Jesus himself affirmed (Matthew 26:64, Mark 14:62, Revelation 1:7). The Gospel narratives confirm Jesus as the awaited Messiah, whose death and resurrection provide salvation to all who believe (John 3:16, Acts 4:12). God bless you all!

Jesus Christ doesn't have to pretend to be the 'suffering servant'...his life, death, and resurrection in suffering is written about and echoed throughout the whole world. Israel, too, can be the suffering servant of Almighty God, but they can only be Jews if they are obeying their God...Some are, and some aren't. The Ten Commandments denote the cut-off point. What amazes me is that the suffering servants of Almighty God have a blue-print of repair...how to re-instate their internal plumbing, simply by following the righteous instructions of our Deity. We too have an engine with pipework, oxygen paths, and protein repair units, lymph purifying routines, not to mention a superb electrical system...but the accidental laws of the universe want to claim them all for their own amusement...whilst suffering to get all the plumbing right is best endured by righteousness.

Still a christian. Mostly because Isiah 53 was widely accepted to be about the messiah up until after Jesus when it needed to be re-interpreted. Second because the evidence Jesus died and rose again is just far too strong to ignore. Atheists have had to tell increasingly convoluted stories to try and debunk it. And if he rose he is who he said he was, the lamb God provided as an eternal sacrifice to put an end to sin and the one who was lifted up on a pole, that any who look upon him may be saved from the poison of sin. Isiah 53 is a drop in the proverbial bucket when the entire Tanakh points to Jesus. The sacrifice God wouldn't let Abraham make he made himself, and it was sufficient for all people through all time. Isreal wandered the wilderness for 40 years after rejecting God's gift, until they were finally allowed to enter their holy land, and Isreal was allowed 40 years from the start of Jesus teaching to accept the gift of God before the Roman's removed them from the holy land. Hey, watch The Pilgrim's Progress and take note of a character called Pliable. There's your man. Because all that should show to the person who has never read Isaiah is that the identity of the Isaiah 52-53 servant needs to be established, not just assumed. @@mateo1125if you want a complete understanding of how Judaism understands the topic of “ Isiah 53” I recommend you read the Ibn Ezra (starting in Isaiah 52:13) He explains clearly why we disagree with Christianity- while addressing your arguments

@@esthersteier6840 I haven't given you my arguments, yet. I just said that Tovia's big argument is fallacious. So, how do you know that the Ibn Ezra addresses them? You must be assuming what they are, just like you assumed that I am interested in why you disagree with Christianity. Well, I don't follow any form of Christianity. But I do know that Isaiah 53 is about Jesus. First argument (v. 9): Jesus, and no one else, was buried with the criminals, then was with the rich in his deaths. You may know that all of Christianity has taught that Jesus was taken off the cross by Joseph of Arimathea and taken straight to the rich man's tomb. But the NT accounts require that Jesus was first buried with the two thieves.

There were some other writings of Paul I had found many years ago, and he was very much for chastity and anti circumcision, then there are other writings I came across supposedly of Pilate's letters to others and how they persecuted the families of circumcised males.... I dont remember where I found them at, and it was many years ago.... but Paul did admit with out spelling it out that he was roman and pro roman and anti Judaism with a mission to unify faith of all under the roman religious ideology... and that traced back to Antiochus I grew up in the south, Bayou of Louisiana, spent some time in Arkansas visiting family and such.... as a kid.... I was told there were certain things we do not talk about, one was as my great grandma would always get on to me and say 'we could not let them see our jewishness' , she also spoke yiddish though I didn't know what that was as a kid.... the other thing we did not discuss on my moms side was we did not discuss or let others know we were native ....... funny thing though my moms side and my dads side always had a gathering where both families got together for a week every fall....there were other families that joined that added to my confusion of who was who from where and how.... family knew each other before some how... some how same aunts and uncles for both sides... my aunt on my dads side and distant aunt on my moms side, some woman. My great great grandpa had a business he was forced to close and leave the Whales area and that was when they came here to America, other family perished there in Whales in 1800's, I used to get told a lot that I looked jewish growing up... among catholics. We did not attend church, grandparents did not attend church, Jesus and stuff was not mentioned growing up in the family, I was only exposed to it from outside sources especially by the catholics not being so nice and as a legally deaf child I did not understand why. Now in my late 40s, puzzle pieces have come together sadly family that knew has passed- those that I could get detail from, but now I can't ......Im no longer hiding my jewishness, I dont need the answers but I would sure like to have them.

What did you do, read the Christian mistranslation? 🤦🏼 Why not use Google translate Chinese instead? It would be a better translation than from the church

In Isa 44: the word 'we' does not appear at all, let alone in juxtaposition to 'him'. Who then, is the 'we' versus the 'him' in Isa 53. "When WE shall see HIM ...". While you are at it, explain Yoma 9a and 11Q13 Tovia.

I’ve just watched this and I’m still a Christian. Rabbi, you seem to be under the allusion that Christians only read chapter 23 of Isaiah. That is just not true at all, it is a much loved and studied book - all 66 chapters. Also your teaching seems to be quite convoluted and misleading.

So I’m a Christian as well, mind you, not an orthodox one. I know we read more/all of the book but I think what he is saying is when people ask us why we feel Isaiah is referring to Jesus we do tend to hyper fixate on those chapters and verses. I came to the conclusion that Jesus isn’t the Jewish Messiah at the end days, rather he’s the God figure that comes back when the Jewish Messiah does things he’s supposed to that leads back to Jesus’ return. I personally believe the Old Testament God is the Son God, in return the part of the Godhead that comes down in the form of man and will come back as the son God.
