Christianity has: 1. The "upper God". 2. The secondary god, JC, whom they often interchange with the upper God. 3. The third god, the HS, who controls them. 4. The god of the underworld, Lucifer, who is as powerful and omnipotent as the upper God, as well as being His enemy. 5. The many lower gods under the leadership of the underworld, one of them called Baphomet. 6. And the all important goddess, Jezebel, who controls anyone who seems to disagree with them. 7. The "Cross", an inanimate item before which many Christians bow in repentance. 8. A fir tree which they dearly venerate every Ddcember. 9. The queen of Heaven, basically the upper God's wife. 10. And the most beloved god of them all, the jolly and kind Santa Claus. Christianity is the extension of Greek mythology, but added a Jewish flavor to make people THINK it is a true religion.

In my many years studying the Bible, I never connected Lucifer with Venus. After listening to this podcast, I looked it up and there are thousands of online references connecting Lucifer, Morning Star, and Venus...isn't it amazing to learn and understand something like this!!!! It’s referring to the MORNING STAR that announced Jesus‘ BIRTH. The morning star (in the sky, outerspace, literal 🌟 ) that pointed the 3 wise men in the correct direction. That verse is saying to PAY ATTENTION to the holy scripture like a light shining in a dark place like the morning star and let it rise in your hearts as the star that guides us correctly. This journey I have been on is a wild ride of Growth in between the lies growing up in the Christian church to feeling Angry for the manipulation the church has done on my heart. Went to Adventist schools and church.. At least the Sabbath was installed in path.. Started down a study of Tanak and Celebrating feast years of change, my path has crossed rabbi Singer before but at the time I was rejecting The messages due to The Jesus Factor.. I have tried to use the principles of Christianity throughout my life of 50 years and my conclusions are leaning towards it being dogma. I remember elsewhere in the Bible Lucifer being referred to as the Morning Star, but it never dawned on me no pun intended , and this song endorses the worship of the Morning Star not even realizing the tragic mistake this song made. Whether or not both Jesus and Satan is referred to as the Morning Star it is still Beyond me why a god inspired text would use the same reference to both characters if they are spiritual enemies . To think that a christian hymnal accidentally has it's readers singing praises to Lucifer and people don't even realize this. This is naughty of me but I'm sorry I think this is hilarious LMAO For any Christians who do not remember this, can you remember the song that has the lyrics " ...he's the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star, he's the fairest of 10,000 to my soul..."

I didn’t notice that when I was a Christian but I did notice the conflict of the claim that Jesus brings light and the meaning of the word Lucifer, meaning light bringer or the morning star. I studied Christianity quite a bit when I was younger including with the early church councils. The debates in those councils bring up many contradictions in what became Christian doctrine. Those contradictions are based on the inconsistencies in the New Testament. Essentially the New Testament shows an evolution of belief from descriptions of earlier Christians in Mark & Acts 21:20 which progresses through Paul, Matthew, Luke & finally to the last writings attributed to John. What is said to be from John is the final foundation of what became Christianity. The repeated John 3:16 messages is an example of this. Imo the writer of Mark would have no idea about much of what was being claimed in the Gospel of John.

My point wasn't to say that Jesus wasn't given credit for some of these metaphorical attributes, but that for some weird reason him and Lucifer were referred to as the Morning Star. Christianity is a religion created by the Apostle Paul and has nothing to do with the Old Testament. You haven't mentioned here, but I believe you mentioned in other videos, how the Babylonians we're also known for astronomy, studying the stars, praying to them, there's archeological evidence showing stars and symbolizing their kings as stars. So since Venus from Earth sort of appears as a star, and it's the last star to be seen all the way until the morning, that's where the explanation sits. God also mocks the king of Babylon and the Babylonian empire for wanting to be like something physical like a star, then brings in the comparison to how ultimately the morning star goes away. God is a phenomenal poet and writer.

He created each of us with free will, so the faults are our OWN choices. He gave us His instruction book (Hebrew scriptures given to Moses at Mt. Sinai) about how to Iive in the world that He created for us. He specifically told us to LISTEN to what the Orthodox Rabbis teach, in Deut. 17:8-11. In the absence of the Temple, the Rabbis are our spiritual teachers, since they (and ONLY THEY!!) have been studying the original Hebrew scriptures all the way back to Mt. Sinai.

Thank you for this explanation especially exciting to me because I fell on this passage many years ago totally by chance. As a basis yaakov girl , I heard many strange things when I went to study at the university but this was one of the strangest. We came upon this passage about Lucifer and I was shocked to discover Lucifer came from tanach- I had always thought he was some Greek mythical character. So I went to check and came upon this beautiful posuk " איך נפלת משמיים הלל בו שחר? Where was lucifer? When I told my professor that this was not about lucifer, he asked me who I thought it was about. I innocently said- well it says he is the king of Babylon so maybe Saddam Hussein? He fell from the heavens and then that oppressor of nations was found in a pit in the earth (then in the news).

Lucifer is Latin and means "light bringer." It's a perfectly valid translation of הֵילֵל (from which the English word Hell is derived). St. Jerome's translation choice was likely impacted by his controversy against Lucifer of Cagliari, who had been an ardent defender of St. Athanasius and Nicene orthodoxy but later become embroiled in foolish controversies and constantly attacked the Church over petty disagreements. From Jerome's point of view, Lucifer of Cagliari must have resembled the fallen daystar that had once done so brightly, but now is cast underfoot in the muck. The fire which had once produced so much light now only emitted heat. Anyway, the name Lucifer captured the Christian imagination and developed into the proper name of Satan, the leading angel who led so many others into rebellion in the primordial event of creation turning away from God.
