Old school Jerr Dan 50 Ton getting the work done. That’s an ideal recovery for the 50T independent set up. Nice work !

Good end result, winch line at rear end restrained the roll, would have used snatch blocks myself, but each to his own system, used to do jobs like that with a twin boom,. We used to pull cement mixers over real slow, and allow the drum to turn, taking the load to the lowest point,it would land like a feather with no restraint at all. Favourable camber too, regards from uk.

Their is no such thing as a (Cement Mixer) Cement is a powder that is added to other materials and chemicals to make a final product called Concrete! Cement is transported in a Cement Bulker such as the one in the video. Concrete is transported in a (Concrete Mixer). Just saying.

@dandunning44093 жыл бұрын
@@grumpystruckshop3807 Because you obviously don't know the difference between Cement and Concrete or a Cement Bulker and a Concrete Mixer! At least by reading your previous comment that is!

@@grumpystruckshop3807 My comments are educational sir. People are confusing Cement for Concrete or concrete for cement. I was only stating that cement and Concrete are not the same and that they are 2 different product's and are transported by 2 different vehicles.

Some narration would be nice. Also starting the video earlier, during the rigging is interesting to watch. Otherwise, a good job, no injuries. Stay Safe.

Yup, that thar is indeed a cement truck, or raver a bulker trailer, if it was a mixer it's called a concrete mixer.

How would you remove full loaded semi truck in deep clay mud, like liberia africs?
@knurri5 жыл бұрын
That is a bulker, not a cement truck. It could be full of cement powder, but it's still a bulker.

Yes your correct it's a Cement Bulker. What do you call the truck that mixes? A cement mixer? Nooooo. The truck that mixes is a CONCRETE Mixer not a cement mixer. Cement is just a powder that is added to the mix of other materials and chemicals to make a final product called Concrete.

Rigging looks pretty normal to me?
@tylertucker44784 жыл бұрын
@@towtruckaj then you don't need to be in a wrecker if that looks like good rigging. If he wouldve ran the straps under the trailer around to the bottom of the frame he wouldve gotten alot more leverage and wouldnt have been such a hard pull. And with that kind of weight and just one wrecker shouldve used snatch blocks in each main line. Very dangerous recovery. Couldve snapped a main line and lost a wrecker or killed someone

It looked loaded, empty wouldn't have been wanting to keep leaning over,and the rear left side was wanting to go back, cause the load was still up on the side of the vessel. Plus it wouldn't have been that hard to pick up an empty one.

Ron Pratt uses a rotator to recover motorcycle. nice job with one truck
@towtruckaj69994 жыл бұрын
Not real sure how that's relevant, Ron also does one truck recoveries on a lot of jobs and pretty much the only reason he used a rotator on a motorcycle is because as far as I know he has no light duty wrecker and it was off the side of a bridge where you need the rotating boom for it to be done with a heavy without taking up all lanes, or you need a light duty wrecker to be able to recover over the side without again taking up all lanes to which he doesn't have, a wrecker wouldn't have worked as the motorcycle was too far out as far as I know and you can't lift with rollbacks

Why run single lines especially when you already have them in the line?? Got away with it but eventually your gonna break a line. They aren’t in a hurry so they aren’t worried about blocking the road. That’s why companies like PePes use snatch blocks doubling their lines.
