Got one little issue. Hooking the chains on the strut springs isn't good, it may save time, but I go around the lower control arms which is a much safer because the springs can be pulled out if the wheels pop off.

Lift it up and then strap down personally, my backs to messed up to be bending down for all that, use the tools ya got

raise the car up of the ground so that you don't have to bend your back while doing the ratcheting and risk of getting hurt,,,but the first wheel tie down,,,that shit won't fly here in Cali,,,like the spring trick, will have to check our local chicken shit laws here in Cali.

Actually the old tone was called a Sling lift! Stinger refers to being like a bee stinger. And sling lifts are still being used on Med duty and heavy duty rigs

@@colemanmoreing5532 a stinger was an actual piece of a tow truck at one point. More common on older rollbacks from the 80’s and before. Almost reminds you of a truck bar on a medium duty wrecker, but minus the rubber rings for protecting the bumper. Basically a crash tow

@@hectorpadilla3062 Yes that's true in the 80s they had a hydraulic operated bar with heavy rubber straps that were similar in style to sling lifts , made it easier for the driver to chain down to the undercarriage

Stinger because it comes out the back of the truck like a bee stinger. I never heard of towing from a bumper, that would be fucked up
