Al's kid at the end is the best feature on the album. The moment he shared between them was so heartfelt and pure. Really put the album in context. Al doesn't care about money, cars and clothes. His biggest accomplishment is his family.

Hey my comment is unrelated to this post but I had to let you know that I watched your interview on the company man channel (4 months late). Because of your comment about Kool Moe Dee / LL beef, I immediately ran to your page and subscribed. I’ve been running around telling anyone who would listen that the LL/Moe Dee beef doesn’t get enough credit as an all time great rap battle. Regarding your comment about an Al-Tang album, I would advise you check out Yacht Rock 2 if you haven't already. While it may not be the competitive sort of dynamic it sounds like you're alluding to, it has a lot of staples of the current underground scene giving good verses on top of a bunch of samples that feel plucked rom the 70s or 80s.
