I tried every fan orientation possible. When I say everyone possible, i literally spent hours changing and testing until I got the best setup. I also tried 3 different cpu coolers on my 7800X3D and there is one clear winner. The position of the Tower is in the upright position. Motherboard is an Asus B650E-I Rog Strix gaming Wifi ITX. My GPU is a Noctua edition 4080 Super. The coolers tested are the Noctua NH-12UA Air cooler, the Kraken 240 AIO, and the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360. The best orientation and cooler to use for myself is the top fans that come with it used as intakes. The two rear 120’s intake. The lower chamber above PSU is intake. The Arctic liquid freezer was the best at cooling the CPU and the fans are used as exhaust fans. Temps at idle are 39C on average. Under full load testing with cinebench 23,24 and prime 95, max temps reach 79C. With the Noctua NH12-UA idle averages were around 43C With a max temp of 84C under full load testing. With the Kraken 240 AIO idle was averaging 44-45C with a max of 81C. Room temp was 73F or 22.7C.

What an INCREDIBLE PICTURE showing the SSD clearance at 3:19 in the video! To explain the clearances is one thing but to clearly depict that sort of thing with great picture quality is incredibly rare on KZbin! A+ Hardware Artisan! Especially appreciate the extra EFFORT to show the case with both configurations of an liquid and a fan heatsink CPU cooler! One question. At the 3:23 mark...What is that orange SSD drive? Is that like a cover or a wrap that goes over the SSD? Fantastic job on creating, narrating, editing, and publishing this video! I called out the picture of the SSD clearances but so many other things were done so well throughout the video from beginning to end! Well done!

I wonder what your gpu temps are when the case is in the upright position. It is still the reason i have not pulled the trigger on this case because if i put a 7900 xtx in it the gpu will reach close to max temps the same could apply for the possibility of other GPUs.

Just a bit of a tip, the black plastic clips that run the wires down the side of the case lock into place. I see in your vid highlighting the cable channels that you have them un-clipped as they would be when you place the wire. Just push the black end of the clip past the inside of the case and it will lock right into place.

I like vertical positioning but it wont fit under my desk hutch so i got the stand but im conflicted with it, i feel like it should be more upright and being sideways you lose a bit of access, only thing i feel they missed out on is fan mount rail on the left side by gpu but you can kinda mount fans to the cover.

Hi maruu.gaming, you will be fine with a 360mm aio in this case. As long as your pump isn't the highest part of the loop, it will be fine. I pointed out that it would be possible to get your aio on the bottom, which is not what you want. So just keep the tower 300 rotated so your aio is in the top position and you will be in good shape. ..good luck and have fun! Thanks for watching.
