It takes some skill to give the same tour day in, day out, multiple times each day, repeating the same facts yet maintain an air of freshness throughout. Although I live just 50 miles out of London , visiting fairly frequently for the night life in the mid-80s into the mid-90s, I have never visited the Tower. Now it would be quite difficult, if not impossible, as failing health means I'm dependent on medical oxygen and would need to be in a wheelchair, which would prohibit me from seeing the upper levels. Unless lifts have been installed in recent years. This Yeoman Guard is very entertaining and informative, I envy anyone who has been fortunate to have him as their tour guide.

My (however many greats) grandfather is William the Conqueror (or bastard). Duke of Normandy in 1035 and King of England in 1066. I am proud of my lineage, and am fascinated to look upon those walls.
