Since people kept asking, the music is from my library of copyright-safe tracks, rather than the game's soundtrack. It'll sound way different if you play it.

Thoughts on changing the "Level Up" pick's to be mid-run more like Bullet Heaven's so you might have the ability to clutch something (maybe level ups also reset CD's) and the end of the wave you get the shop so it has some separation ?

Thank you for trying my game! It's 4:30 a.m in Vietnam and I'm so happy I'm not sure I can go back to sleep 😆 About the game, why I were so eager to show it to everyone, I still call, as you see in the game, playtest as it's still not the definitive demonstration of the final game, not only in terms of content but how the foundation things work. That means there will be big updates to come, stay tuned.

The colour scheme generally looks decent, but the blue text with gold background (4:37) is physically painful. I'm also not entirely sure what the colours even mean - I assume it's rarity, and I assume purple is more rare than gold, but only because it seems to appear less often (purple being very rare is not really the norm in games in my experience). If it were me, I'd probably just stick some text on the cards to say what rarity they are (in addition to colour differences). If not that, then at least add a brief note about that in a tutorial (but I guess that'll come later). Also, having money be purple to indicate that you can't afford something makes things a bit more confusing when purple otherwise means rare. Also, I hope there's a setting to turn off screenshake, because that's rough with the mines.

@@blueredingreen Yeah, I'll definitely have to rework the text colors. About the screenshaking effect, the game already had it in the setting, you can drag the slider to change the amplitude of the shake, drag it to 0 to turn it off completely.

If possible, when you're re-working the colors, do you think you'd be able to add in one or more colorblind modes? I have friends who are colorblind, and in games like this where color is super important, that can go a HUGE way in improving accessibility! Also, do you think you would be doing an early access or beta testing program? Or is that what Wander is currently playing?

​@@dyger430 you can sign up for the playtest now (on the game's Steam page) and you'll get the access to the latest build by the end of March 2024. That build will be very close to the release build. Also, I added color-blind modes to the consideration list. Thank you for the suggestion.

Maybe just a personal nitpick, I don't like how the card tilts during buying phase when hover over with mouse. Is alrighty hard to read because of the contrast and the tilt just seems unnecessary

The music for this game sounds like a "Giraffes? Giraffes!" Cover band who remixes the original songs into lofi versions. Except the cover band members arent nearly as talented as "Giraffes? Giraffes!". The way I was able to hear giraffes giraffes for the first time is ridiculous. I was a bad kid and used to do a lot of ignorant stuff. One of my favorite ignorant things to do was "car-hopping". I'd run over to one of the 5 different apartment complexes on my street and find any vehicle i could, that was unlocked. Once I found an unlocked vehicle, I proceeded to steal everything i could find in said vehicle. One time I found a big Ford truck and began rummaging through it. I found 2 ipods, this was in 2009 or 2010 so one was an old school brick ipod and the other was a little pink ipod nano. Also found a bunch of money and all that but that doesn't pertain to this story. I ran home after closing the truck. I turned on the thick black ipod and scrolled thru the artists. I found what would be my favorite band for many years after that night. At first i didn't get it. But they grew on me and I came to absolutely LOVE their music. Giraffes? Giraffes! Live in Toronto Is still to this day my favorite album by far. The live version of "Scorpion Bowls at the Hong Kong", from said album, is such a great display of talent from both members of the band. Give it a listen!!

I think this game over values range, attack speed, and undervalues flat damage, as the range and attack speed felt like they did very little per upgrade, while the bullet damage seemed huge.

No, there's lots that boost melee damage instead of bullet.

I assume you're putting this music in in case the in-game music gets flagged but man this generic "uplifting video" music is just so offputting.
