There was a chap who was a fellow student when I studied engineering at uni sounds like the fellow you towed. He was sociable, amiable, mostly harmless and frequently under the influence of something. On one occasion he turned up 90 minutes late for a lecture and demanded his mark. He explained that there was a great big bubble in the road and it took him over an hour to get round it. The lecturer granted his attendance mark (while slowly backing away). On another occasion he copied my mechanics homework so he could hand it in at the end of the lecture. Trouble is he copied it word-for-word, including my name. The last we saw of him he went off to sell welding equipment in Argentina, a month before the Falklands War and was never seen again...

I could watch hours of that double time cruising, I find it quite relaxing.

Yes, I like the dashcam footage. maybe you could have a camera just to record the cruising from a fixed position and then release that footage with no commentary.

Well done Robbie, your a gooden. We passed you on the Oxford canal in August while you were filming at a lock. Great moment for me. We traveled the Thames Ring and more for two months and encounter so many lovely people, it was a privilege to be on the canals. Such a great community. Cheers Paul, from Australia.

Hi Robbie hope you're ok with this cruel cold season. My thoughts are with those living on their boats on the Bridgwater Canal. When l say living on, l mean they're on boats frozen in the mud with no real clue as to when they'll be able to move. A nightmare scenario for them. Hope you & other boaters stay safe & warm.

Hi Robbie, just watched the last of your TV series on U and saw your Solar Panel replacement. Thinking about it, unless you've done it already, if you mount the brackets to the outside of the panel surround instead of to the inside, the issue that caused you to need to replace it, won't happen and you should get more maneuverability too. Keep up the great work!

That was very kind of you. A note of caution however,be aware that unless specifically allowed your insurance will not cover you for towing a boat. Chances are that whilst towing his boat your insurance and his,if he had any,was invalidated. Also as the tower you would be held responsible for any incident caused either by his or your boat.
