Hello Jude, I popped back to see if there were any new vids, Thank you for this! I really enjoy them & all the work you do to make them. I consider them a wealth of knowledge & a labour of love. I’ve been busy preparing as best we can in such trying times. Getting our garden in, selling off un needed items on our eBay store & using funds to help with provisions for the future. Busy transferring a lot of my recipes to handwritten file box too. Seems I had gotten lazy by “saving” on my computer. Back to old school ways how does the saying go? Old things are new again? Thank you for sharing this, it was delightful and heart warming. I was so excited when I saw you had a new post ! I have missed your videos very much. I think they were/are very pertinent to today's struggles for so many. Showing how so much can be done with so little & using what's at hand with just a bit of creativity. (Don't need special equipment or appliances)I was raised like that & am so grateful to have been taught those basic skills like you share. My parents told many stories of the wartime and depression and how people lived, helped one another to get by. We need those kinds of teachers and social programs you talk about Again Today. Your videos have made it available to people all over the world. I hope you will share more tips from hard times past in your beautiful, creative way. God Bless you!

What a lovely tribute to your trailer! Can you share why you are giving it up? Will you not be participating in the events in that way anymore? Will you be making another from a horse box? ;)

It was very sad giving it up as it was not only a great way to do so many different displays but it allowed me to sleep comfortably and cater for myself on my own at events. As well as having a place to keep an aggy rehomed dog secure! But keeping it in good condition when kept out in all adverse weather conditions has become too much for us. I still aim to do events this year but they are all so much harder now without it.

Ha Ha! It was a multiperiod Living History event. And the other time periods love to come and look around at other displays. But we did have a Tardis (Police Box) on one of our group displays one year so who knows.....
