It's honestly pretty wild that jesters can haunt other jesters, I'm a huge fan of the idea of seeing jesters when you get lynched as one and you can roulette through them

Jest achievements may be some of the hardest to get as it relies upon conditions mainly out of your control. The most you can do is try to survive till late in hopes of what you need popping out or gathering roles yourself.

Actually it's a music sharp, not a pound sign. It's sad it seems that phones have corrupted the music accidental for everyone else. This argument is built to show and mock the ridiculousness of your statement, since the pound sign's origin is literally a corrupted version of a crossed out -lb- . Meaning the pound sign itself is corrupted so acting like it's the actual name for it is ridiculous. Especially since it's been used for even longer as a sharp accidental in sheet music.

I think it helps that jesters now show as sus, so if you're claiming sheriff or psychic it's easy to push them with no repercussions so it benefits coven more to help jesters. Like it achieves multiple objectives a) confirms you as TI, b) wastes a trial resulting in no cov getting lynched, and c) possibly gets an immune role or town with a TP on them haunted. There are far fewer downsides than when jester WASN'T sus and helping them meant you'd get lynched the next day.

I wonder if they use # for enemies in the Seer will because it's kind of like an = with a double strikethrough? It takes less characters/time to write and is more visually distinct at a glance than the similar =/= (or != if you're a fellow programmer). I've seen it used in Tuba Antics' videos, that may be where the trend started. Does anyone know?

@@philipgarritsen5162 Unless your keyboard has the ability to type alt codes (≠ is alt code 8800), you'd have to copy-paste it. That makes it either slow, unreliable, or impossible. It's also very similar to = at a glance, so it's hard to distinguish when chat is moving fast. Because of all that I prefer the #, but an X would work equally well imo.

I've only seen one Psychic will without visits in it and funnily enough it turned out to be real. I was Deputy that game and there was so little time and evils were getting found left and right so we never lynched it even though we were SURE it was evil. The game ended in town victory and we were all surprised.

1 Exe, 2 Jesters, 2 Apoc, 1 Shroud, 1 Pirate, 4 Coven in the last game. Not only that but Town had such weak roles too. Sheriff is trash, Psychic isn't that good in a game with this many evils and pretty much zero confirmed town, Coroner may have been useful maybe but the lack of votes and killing potential in Town cripples it, Trapper is only useful when you have a good target to protect which is non-existent in this game. It wasn't throwing but a really bad dice roll on the All Any.
