I didn’t know so many of the BTOS2 changes would be added, even with you now being a dev! The Coven Leader change is so crazy, wasn’t expecting it to become vanilla. Now I’m just worried since the chances for PM+Rit will be doubled- now the deadly combo isn’t just from PM+Rit, but now CL+Rit too.

I think having more PM Rit combos is fine as CL would have to use a retrain to make a PM which means no reveal on N1. And there is of course the issue of whoever you retrain being found and you lose your PM instantly. I feel like Illus is about to become a lot more popular simply for being a free retrain target lmao

It's CL+ck/cpow+rc, only need a cl, random coven, and coven killing or coven power Edit: nvm it's CL and one random coven, since they can just make a pm and turn themselves into rit

Cl, conj, pois. Pois uses his ability n1, then turns into pm. After that, conj uses his ability, then turns into rit. Funny combos gentlemen.

@@moslok4919 Retraining would mess that up. I actually wonder what happens if coroner examines a coven who made a kill, but then got retrained to a different role from coroner’s list

No, not my highest skill role 😂. Necromancer is s tier with astral visits & roleblock immunity as book holder. I wonder how it will balance out on other gamemodes like tt, since avoiding crus is op (in modded you have 3 coven + np + tt). PS: if we are buffing necromancer to use more body, it would be cool to fix using trapper with build trap on retri.

Yeah I think it's pretty nice, since it doesn't nerf doom directly, it just makes it winning less punishing to everyone else.

Doom wasn't nerfed at all. It still leaves upon guessing 3 correct roles. This just means the 3 that are doomed have 1 more day to push back instead of instantly dying.

With the coven leader rework. I honestly see the jinx role being actively swapped away from. How about buffing the jinx to have powerful attack but keep everything else about it the same. That way it has a strategic value and could see some active use in attempts to hunt other factions, or if that's too powerful have it deal a basic attack but also have it weaken others roles that it attacks defense. Potentially have it weaken powerful defense into basic and then basic into no defense. I left invincible out of it because it should remain invincible. It's just an idea I had and I'm curious if it's good enough to test.

Coven may be able to do some crazy plays with CL Retrain ability. I’m imagining CL, Conj. Imagine if conj throws an early meteor and then gets retrained into a rit. Coven’s kill power may stay pretty strong that way. Similar interaction if you have Dusa run out of stones or enchanter run out of forges, and then retrain them into something useful.

I dont like the seer nerf. Most games won't go on long enough for them to lose their ability, but if evils only kill people they haven't checked (which is probably a valid tactic), and only people they haven't checked get hanged, they become useless really fast. Though if you've tested it... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Coven Leader change is too broken. There is no way for town to know what are the coven roles in AA at least. I don't like it, I prefer the old CL. Same thing for Necro passing. Town could deduce which coven roles are there but not anymore.

you can deduce the coven roles its called a coroner, or someone claiming voodoo'd or insomnia, or having a spy to detect hex master and, seeing a jinx ever get a kill.

also Coven Leader needs this change now that necro passing is a thing, a CL with no book literally can't do anything. CL needs a different ability so if he doesnt have necronomicon, he's not literally useless

I’ve been thinking this for a bit and been wondering if not permanently but temporarily give shroud either basic defense for town or astral to bypass tps and ethereal (all of this would be in modded) as way to slow down the game a tiny bit and make the neutral pariah alignment not so easily findable from bees cus apoc is already kind of busted and town in rolelists where it’s just town vs evils the case of its possible that the whisper was unrelated if you’re bers and whisper early sort of as a way to not have newcomers getting outed after telling their teammates somehow their target was immune, also because it just fits the name ethereal. It wouldn’t affect apoc in finding the np in att either

Mostly shroud could be astral to break to chains if done right and then you could I guess buff deputy because I feel as though it’s kind of bad due to how niche it is but it’s almost too good when you hit like 4 players

I’m wondering if dep would be balanced if you can’t camp at a revealed roles house but also you can mark both players as soon as you want and if you kill them both in a single night if it would only take 1 bullet like a double kill or maybe instead of both marks you can kill the person if they don’t visit or are astral but this last part is probably too broken for the only townie that can directly kill immunes
