Town of Salem Ranked is back today with an attempt at the mayor clutch! Town slides fast in this town of salem gameplay video, and pretty quickly we are left with only 1 option and a long shot to victory. In ranked town of salem there is very little that feels better than getting that epic mayor clutch victory, proving to mafia that it's never the right time to get too confident.

I think that spy was very new to the game. They were on the jailor claim, who was attacked and BG died for, and they read the "Your target was attacked but someone fought them off." message that spy gets from the bug status as themselves being saved by BG. Maybe that explains it? And the fact that they think BG stops maf visits could be just them being confused, thinking they got attacked.

From the Disguiser Wiki: A Spy will not see the visits of a Mafia member Disguised as a non-Mafia member. -Mafioso was disguised and attacked 2. -Witch used BG on 2. -Also, the Framer visited Jailor which, if it was intentional, it was 200IQ because this was the maf visit that threw everyone off- -I was wrong on the last part. Disguiser visited jailor. A very rare chain of events but it's what makes the game fun for evils.

the bg was witched to 2 and the disguiser disguised the mafioso (who visited 2) so u dont actually see who the mafioso actually visits bc the mafioso was disguised as jailor or the other person seen on mv. So the spy actually was attacked but disguiser makes it seem like its not the person the mafioso visited

The Spys will was correct. Its the jailors fault for not saying they werent attacked n1. And the towns general lack of knowledge on how disguiser and spy interact. Disguiser Disguised Mafioso as Jailor. Which hid mafiosos visit from spy. (The attack on 2) so the mv that showed are the 2 disguiser visits. Which is 9 and 13.

Yeah, jailor not claiming attacked made everything more confusing and especially cost the spy its credibility. I have to admit, that I did not know how disg works now, I have not played ToS in quite a while, but the people playing should know.

actually spy was wrong HIS target was attacked no him, The jailor was attacked, so the spy will see the jailor being attacked and someone protecting him, The spy read wrong the msg probably, and this caused a lot of confusion. but still i didnt thought he would be fake, just dumb. because jailor was attacked, just looking the bg will, this will be confirmed, maf would never do that play as fake spy, so as really think the spy was town, but dumb

So if was this, spy wasnt wrong, he was attacked and bg was on him because of witch, and he didnt saw the mafioso visiting because of disguiser. If this happened, its totally towns fault, and he was right

@@0cidd0 SPY WAS CORRECT This is what actually happened: 1.Disguiser disguise Mafioso(9) as Jailor(13). 2.Mafioso attacked 2. 3.Bodyguard got witched into 2. 4.Mafioso get killed by Bodyguard and Spy got attacked but someone fought off them. 5.Spy gets the MafiaVisits as 9 and 13, and he doesnt get 2 as MafiaVisit because Disguiser. 6.Everyone thinks Jailor got attacked because Bodyguard’s will. 7.Jailor doesnt claim not-attacked. 8.Lynch 2.

skimm did briefly consider the possibility but discarded it. the fault lays with the jailor, who never clarified that they weren't attacked n1, causing everyone to assume the spy was a liar. meanwhile the spy clearly didn't know how disguiser worked, and just made themselves look like a really bad player. after they did, skimm was pretty clearly confused, but because the jailor never clarified they weren't attacked, the spy just being a crappy player seemed more logical. definitely a misplay to not figure it out, but there was definitely circumstances that made figuring it out tricky

Skimm disg went on mafioso and made it look like he visited jailor when he actually went on spy. Thats how it works after the rework

Yeah I figured it was a disguiser disguising the mafioso. Took me ages to understand how disguiser works (the wiki was not helpful at all) - if town had been on the ball and seen 9 as an mv n1 they'd have realise but RIP Plus the constant 'your will was wrong' is making me facepalm

There was 1 extremely vital piece of information everyone missed. 9, the mafioso, was visited by maf.

I had a CAA game as Spy where I was being called a thrower for not putting in the right Mafia visits (someone died who wasn't on my MV). I immediately called that there was a Disguiser and that they mess up Spies. No one believed me and I was ignored. Died the very next night. The dude who called me a thrower said they went and looked up exactly what Disguiser does, and was very surprised to find that I was right. Soon after they apologized to me. PSA: Don't call a Spy fake just because the MVs might be a little off.

Seeing Skimm not understand how Disguiser works hurts my soul. The spy was attacked, the BG was witched into 2, Disg was on 9 (mafioso) meaning their visit that spy would see is different to their actual visit and since mafioso died n1 with them as an MV confirmed disg game.

This is what happened: -Mafia attacked 2 N1 -BG was witched off 13 onto 2 N1 -Disguiser disguised Mafioso with Jailor (hence the MV 9, 13) N1 -Mafioso's visit was disguised - it will not show correctly on spy will -The spy saw they were attacked and protected, but didn't see the visit because of Disguiser. I use that disguiser tactic all the time on other RMs to give their will some credibility, i.e. consort rbing a town but it won't show as MV to spy that that town was visited by consort.

Jailor never claimed attacked/saved D2 and then later I think he was still too salty with the escort to care.

1 - Anyone who gets visited by maf will be shown on spy logs, that includes himself, wich wasn't included as visited in his own will. 2 - Bg's will says that his intention was to visit 13 3 - Bg dies fighting someone off 4 - As spy doesn't have himself as visited by maf, his argument is contradictory with his own will 5 - A member of the mafia wass killed by bg, confirming that it was mafia who did the attack and nos some random TK i think what happened was that the spy bugged 13 (the one who was attacked) and saw bg protecting them, but read it wrongly as the bg protecting themselves (protecting the spy) and this generated all this.

@@Lunym Spy cannot see a disguised mafia visit. Disguiser visited the jailor and disguised the mafioso as him. Mafioso attacked spy. Witch controlled BG onto spy and saves him. Spy sees the attacked/saved message but not the mafia visit. Both mafia visits that the spy saw were the disguiser's.

I feel bad for that spy since no one believed them and they were accused of throwing when it was just a lack of understanding the disguiser mechanics. Jailor definitely should have clarified that they weren’t attacked and protected N1 and since no one was claiming witched N1 it would’ve been obvious that the Bg was witched to 2 and Mafia attacked that therefore 2 could not be Mafia.

As others have said. CAA is constantly active. As for the weekly modes, u can usually get a game, even if you have to wait a bit. Oh and from my experience Lovers is most popular of the weekly modes. In addition, you may have people join lobbies to "recruit" for Coven Customs

I don't think that the exe on escort was such a bad call. He called everyone to visit him on day 1 "no excuses", but escort visits someone else. I mean noone has to visit jailor claim day 1, but it kinda looks like a consort play.
