In the simplest possible terms: Doing/saying *anything* that doesn't immediately reveal or confirm information increases uncertainty or "chaos", because it either distracts people from legitimate information or helps conceal misinformation. The *only* people who benefit from chaos are the ones who already have perfect information and thus aren't affected by it. Only *evil* people have perfect information because *only evil* people, by design, know exactly how many people are on their side and who those people are. Town needs to gather and deduce information because they, by design, don't have perfect information because they don't know who or how many people are on their side. So, chaos benefits you only if you have perfect information. Town doesn't have perfect information, evil people do. Thus, only evil people benefit from chaos. Conclusion: If your behaviour increases chaos, then your behaviour is helping evil people and if you are helping evil people then you must obviously be evil and should be killed! Of course, it's entirely possible that you are a Town player who is increasing chaos unitentionally (because you are an idiot who doesn't understand any of this), in which case you should be killed anyway because it will not only confirm information about your role and claims but also eliminate the chaos you are creating.

I liked seeing the dead chat reactions, with the cheating jailor claim when he was getting everyone from every faction, the dead being wrong about E claiming BG before being on the stand, and Kev trying to give Shadow scumreading tips. It really goes to show how chat interaction adds to the gameplay with what people decide to say and how they are perceived by others.

That night 1 was something. The Vampire both got checked by the Hunter AND visited the Hunter thereby getting two death notifications from the same guy. Were the Mafioso smart they could have jumped on that, claimed to also be VH turned Vigi, and basically been "confirmed" for the game. Might have even saved them from getting "checked" by an Arso who wouldn't likely risk hanging a "confirmed Townie". Definitely would have at least directed you toward the Arso sooner. That is, if you weren't cheating, of course.

Real VH would have known that wasn't the case though, they knew Vamp visited them and that they visited Vamp (Vamp whispered them day 1), giving them the double stake achievement. With another VH in game there would be a third "Staked by VH" death notification. They could probably get away with a couple of days just claiming VH turned Vig, but claiming confirmed VH that staked the vamp instantly outs them as a liar if the real VH knows what they're doing, and they probably eat a bullet next night.

Besides, what are the odds you're playing with someone who knows how many the extremely specific scenario of a Vamp visiting a Hunter who checks them? Sure it might have alerted Shadow to jail them, but it's a better play than claiming Sheriff, imo.

the patented BigDaddyBeatz Scumreading Deluxe™ technique has won me many a game of ToS, even with little town. it can be simplified to "who is talking like someone who has no useful information, but still wants to get a message or two in so a log-checking jailor doesnt see that theyve said nothing, jail and insta exe them". also it makes more sense to instantly assume evil because theres more non-townie roles than townie, and youre in CAA.. where there can be NO TOWN, such as this game where there were THREE, all with killing power, and still barely lost. because the leader instantly assumed everyone was evil.

Love watching these videos because your character is so interesting and entertaining, Shadow. You're so cocky but it's fine because you have the experience with the game, you know the subtleties that other people just don't "feel". There's also a point to be made because of how serious you take the game. The other players make their excuse that "even inno can respond late" and whatever because they simply don't take the game that seriously. However, with your experience, you know the nuance of whether a player should be taking the game seriously or not, something they just don't understand. I can't blame them though, If I were one of the other players I would think you're just talking out of your ass, basing your beliefs off unreliable assumptions, and for you it's not that easy to explain why you have those assumptions. Sometime they may be right, but more often than not they won't be, simply because you've played enough to tell how the majority act, especially when related to their roles. P.S. I'd also like to mention that some players just can't fully utilize their instincts like you can. I say I would side with a player like Kev, simply because I personally tend to over analyze. I can't possibly understand how you can confidently say something like that, although you are correct at the end of the day. IMO Kev isn't wrong, but the exact proportions of his beliefs are. He's acting like there's a 50/50 chance of you being right, although you intrinsically know it's something more like 25/75, with 75% you being right. Maybe Kev, while not taking it as serious, is also someone who get's overly anxious, and his defence is founded by not looking at the bigger picture, or even worse, not being able to. P.P.S. You can also funnily enough tell the type of person I am without me having to explain it. Sorry if this is cringe overload.

These people don't understand the basic psychology in TOS, so whenever they lose to that psychology, they have to make excuses. They cannot handle the fact that there are people who can practically read their minds, and it's not even hard to do that.
