About disease, i find one investment very profitable : Take Plague doctor with the camping skill "Leeches" or self medicine and do a medium or long dungeon with at least one. You can save up a lot fo gold and heirloom investment if you are confident in you ability to finish the dungeon. Heck, if you don't mind the stress you can even go in, do a room, camp, clean disease, then retreat. Rince and repeat.

That is a great strategy if you need to keep moving forward and save money. I have done that occasionally but it is a triple win. Save some money, time (the biggest one), and you can get resolve levels on the said character. Thank you for your comment.

This is definitely a more wordy guide and the images are not all that exciting, but it is a crucial aspect of the game. I mention about having more quirk cells than diseases, what I meant by that was, rushing to two quirk cells is heavily recommended.Diseases will max out first over quirks, but rushing the cost down is beneficial. Let me know what you think was your favorite town path !

Some of the district buildings are pretty cheap and they are a huge benefit. I usually rush the Sanguine Vinters so I don't have to worry about collecting blood as much. The cartographers camp is really good also.
@Skrymaster5 жыл бұрын
Sanguine Vintners is kinda useless imo, since it's generally best to ignore the CC quests 'till you have decent skills and armors available in town(I'm talking at least pre-champion tier) Many people screw themselves over by getting baited by the "Town is abuzz" event spam and start the DLC even before they have resolve 3 heroes, not to mention people who think the lvl 1 short mission is going to be a cakewalk and wipe at the croc. Cartographers is a good extra source of money, but probably the most important one to get is the bank. After upgrading the guild, instead of sinking those valuable portraits(which stack the worst of all) in the tavern, it'd be better to save them for the bank, since if you have 100k-200k saved up, you'll be getting more money weekly from it than from most short runs, and in a couple more weeks, money becomes a nonissue.

Another thing with regards to skills, certain skills aren't worth upgrading early on. For example, Inspiring Cry rank 2 only adds +1 torch compared to rank 1. Or impale, which gets much better at rank 3 when it gets blight.

i think at 1st i upgrade wagon sligty and abbey to have more recruits weekly and better stress heal, than rush blacksmith (weapon before armor) and than guild (levels) i ignore the rest pretty mush, once i have few level 3 heroes i m upgrading medical ward to have more slots and again full focus blacksmith and guild there is also town aspect you can use building patent to create altars in town that buff your guys, i personaly rl like one that gives more time during campfire for hellion and occultist
@waldezurbe Жыл бұрын
i agree almost completely with you, but because my reasoning is a bit different. i simply saw what was needed to upgrade a building, all the buildings need the crest, so i doesn't count. the stage coach needs deeds so does the blacksmith, but it's more important to get more heroes than to upgrade the ones you have in the early game. so stage coach > blacksmith. the guild and the tavern need portraits. the abbey and sanitarium need busts. the guild is more important than the tavern in the early game, because heroes are expendable. so guild > tavern. if my portraits are going to the guild, i can't upgrade the tavern as fast as i can the abbey. given that i need stress heal: abbey > sanitarium. so my order would be: stage coach, guild, blacksmith, abbey, sanitarium. in the middle and late game, the sanitarium gain priority over the abbey. this is the most efficient and simple way to expend the heirlooms that i could think. if we were talking districts: always granary the first one.

Tavern vs Abbey: ive come to the conclusion that the tavern is my absolute last priority simply as in my experience they loose too much gold & trinkets there. Not that a overly religious char cant gift things to the Abbey or run off, but it tend to much less often. Also you can still use the Tavern for the one or 2 chars that need it without upgrades. Early char (less stagecoach): i somehow had a really lucky char drop & by week 4-5 is i already has like 3 vestals & 2 jesters. So decided to keep the chars early on (instead of the usual "use & dismiss early on) & do the "wrong" tanking/armor & healing & "getting invested". Jesters helped keeping the stress healing down. It actually worked well & gave some nice sets of chars, but also seem to trigger "the collector" more from bringing/having more items. I ran into him 3 weeks in a row. Sanatarium tip: you can actually lock in a positive quirk at the same time you are removing a bad quirk from a char. Price is obviously higher because you are doing 2 things on one char at the same time. Donno how long ive been playing without knowing that, lol.

That is fair about the tavern, and the tavern also uses portraits which are way better for skills.

My sole use for the Nomad is Bloodthirst Rings, and once I have four of those I generally forget about her. For getting around hunger checks it's quicker and easier in the long run than grinding for the Mill and you get more value out of apprentice/veteran dungeons without the inbuilt cost of food.

I've been having a blast with Antiquarian and Highwayman combo. When you get 50K from a dungeon run, that's fantastic! In the beginning I upgraded nomad wagon once and I got lucky for getting seer stone and survival guide. Also got a caution cloak as a dungeon reward. I got to 100% scouting in 10 weeks, that's really good 👌 I haven't upgraded tavern or abbey at all. That extra money can really help you in beginning to manage quirks, skills, weapons and armor. I also got an early eldritch slayer ring early, which helped me to go shambler hunting. Thanks again for your videos 👍🙂

My man! The antiquarian is low-key foundational in the early game when it comes to saving time with big-bang-bucks dungeons as opposed to the exposure of 3-4 little ones.

I usually do stage coach and sanitarium (especially to get quirk facilities cells). Especially since I found out that Caregiver Convention (a quest that procs free sanitarium for the next week...at least on hero difficulty, on the lower one it might be a cost reduction idr) pops pretty often. lol So basically... You can lock quirks for free. Negative quirks are easy to remove, but good quirks are expensive to lock and I can deal with stress with other than facilities.. I rarely found myself in situations where I needed all 18 cells unlocked. Usually 2 of each is as far as ill go as I never venture with more than 4 characters and unless I get the Collector or the Shambler, I rarely have to put all 4 of them in a stress facility...So basically, i just unlock what i need so I dont get locked out of a facility for a character with a bad trait (but...as explained above, since I take care of quirks quite efficiently, only my flagellants are being specific with where they unwind, but thats job related thing obviously xD). The blacksmith and guild i do as I level my characters...and survivalist last lol

I dont understand. The Coach can only be upgraded if the Guild and Blacksmith are upgraded before. Not sure your guide takes that into consideration.
@HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming5 жыл бұрын
That is true. This is not an exact week by week basis guide since I think that is near impossible to do because of rng. However, I do stand behind the general trend of which buildings to increase. You are correct, certain buildings are not even available until certain weeks and that will affect the beginning of the game. Thank you for you feedback!
@erykczajkowski82264 жыл бұрын
I think that Sanitarium is higher priority than Blacksmith, especially that Blacksmith uses the same hairlooms as Stagecoach. Being able to get rid of bad quirks (and as cheap as possible) will save you lots of money from heroes interacting with curious on their own. Locking in good quirks early (when the heroes are low level) also saves you lots of money in the long run (apart from boosting the heroes' strenghts). Also I kind of disagree on the Nomad Wagon. A good trinket is equivalent to 2-3 levels of skill/weapon upgrades (!), but you buy it once and can use it each time on a different person. So even if it seems expensive it really is not? And it will pay for itself with less stress to be healed, less heroes lost, more loot can be brought in (as it is more likely that you can continue looting after mission is accomplished) and less bad quirks will need to be removed. PS. Also Abbey is strictly better than Tavern, because it has significantly lower chance of negative outcomes.
@HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. It depends on how experienced you are, I like getting the armor and weapons earlier since they add the hp and speed you need to live. The stage coach does need the deeds as well, but I htink can be ignored for a little bit since you don't need a maxed roster right away. Also, if you are not turning out heroes quickly, a smaller hero pool per week is okay. However, I did focus heavily on the sanitarium in my stygian so I can see the points and logic behind it.

How do I upgrade my coach to get lvl2 recruits cause I've upgraded the black smith and guild to teach lvl2 skills but still wont let me access it am I supposed to upgrade them twice or just once for the lvl2 stuff
@HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming4 жыл бұрын
I think there are three requirements; the guild, weapon smith, and armor smith. If you have those 3 areas to their appropriate level it should allow you too. If you hover over the the recruit level 2 requirement it should tell you what you need still.
