It is so fast! It kind of surprised me how fast it actually went. Good luck as you plan your next year!

I'm right here with you in contemplating all of the decisions.... My parents said I was going to college, and it wasn't an option. It was paid for, so I had no debt. But we don't live in the same world anymore, and I can't offer all of those things to my kids that were given to me. So... yeah.... My upcoming 11th grader has thought about a GAP year, as well as local college and living at home, but he has definitely not wanted to do dual enrollment for his junior year. So, I'm just planning his junior year, and we'll keep the conversation going throughout the year.

I think that oftentimes when you see any content from high school homeschoolers, dual enrollment is a big part of the equation. I think it is a great option, but at the same time, I don't want to force it. I wasn't taking college classes in high school, I know some people who did, but I don't feel like it is necessary at the moment. Will we change our minds later on? Perhaps! But, for the moment, I am letting my daughter take the lead. What resources are you looking to use next year?

@@Townsendhouse1 Yeah, I think it really depends on the kid. You have to evaluate the area you live in too and think about who your kids are being exposed to. We're in Atlanta suburbs, so use your imagination - LOL! My 11th grader is using Denison Algebra 2, Sonlight American Literature, Notgrass American History, Master Books Chemistry and Spanish 1 online through FundaFunda.
