FIRST DAY OF HOMESCHOOL TRADITIONS

I love the idea of doing something fun on the first day of public school! Think we’ll start this tradition!

We use lunch boxes so much when we do field trips and co-op days.

Yes! They are so helpful when you are out and about - and when you don't want to get snacks when you are home too 🤣😊

I've done backpacks and lunchboxes for the first day also!! We mostly utilize them for our field trips....I like getting the "fun" school supplies for the first day and we also like taking a trip the first day also

I have a review and walkthrough of it here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIfSp6SGh72Hpsk It is undated and it does have faith elements to it. I like the list format for the different days, because that is how we typically plan out our homeschool weeks. It has a bit more than we necessarily need, but the size is good.

We celebrate NOT Back to School Day when public schools go back too! We go somewhere really fun and have lunch out❤

One the first day of school we light sparklers and then take individual and family photos with signs that say: "My name is ______. I am (age). I am strong. I am courageous. I am loving. God has big plans for me!" Afterward we have a relaxed day of eating good food and talking over what we are planning to learn that year. And we always do a fun science experiment!
