The community in the county will almost certainly cooperate because they want to keep their community safe, but it seems that the community is likely in the dark, so the only question is whether the family members of the people involved will cooperate (I doubt that the gang members themselves will but you never know).

Thank goodness that innocent bystanders were not harmed. While it was horrible, it could have been so much worse. Towson is not far from Baltimore City. The writing was on the wall a long time ago with incidents near the Towson Mall. Your governor has refused to replace Juvenile Justice Secretary Vincent Schraldi despite the request of Baltimore residents. It's time for county residents to join decent city residents and request the removal of that man. It won't get any better until all Maryland residents start working together. What affects one area will eventually spread into surrounding areas. If you think this is bad, wait until your governor starts the "Red Line" project...

Assuming that the perps are actually from "the community". In many cases, they're from outside "the community". So "the community" would not be of much help. While this might be good advice for crime in city neighborhoods, it's not much help for Towson.
