Videos like this make me glad we don't have smell-o-vision. Car fires have a unique stank to them that sticks around for a while. Some fool left a burned out car in our parking lot for about a week and every time we'd get a bit of wind you could smell all that lovely burned plastic and whatever else in the shop.

hay Dustin go to harbor fright and get a big pack of the heavy duty 3/8" wide 18" long zip ties them are much better then the cheap 3/16" ones you got or get a pack of 1/2" or 5/8" black electrical tape to use around the doors. so handy the right stuff is ya know.

I know this happened awhile ago but just get you some duck tape for those doors. Those zip ties cost so much, the tape does too but get more uses out of the tape. Just a suggestion. You are awesome at what you do. Always professional.

Vehicle hitches are not a recommended recovery point I’ve been told. Pin could break and cause the hitch to break loose

You’ve been told wrong. The hitch is one of the strongest recovery points on the back of a vehicle. What toy don’t want to do, perform a kinetic recovery on a ball hitch. Using a purpose built shackle hitch as the recovery point is the correct way.

Interesting. It was missing the license plates on the back and front of the truck and none on the trailer. Obviously either stolen and dumped or dumped for insurance. If they had driven it down into the gully when it was on fire, wouldn’t there have been burn marks in that grass off the road too? So that eliminates that it was driving along and oh, darn the truck’s on fire. Either way it was dumped. It will be interesting to see what happened when the owner calls.

One of the worst call you can get a car B Q a burn job I hated those calls it gets all over everything the truck you and the smell I can smell that smell just watching the video I had one back when I was towing a guy with a trailer with two Sea Doos burned up he had just come from the gas station both Sea Doos the truck and four 5 gallon cans of fuel all of which had just been filled with fuel went up in flames
