That boom section is from a Manitowoc crane. Before it can be used again, I will have to be inspected and certified by a licensed crane inspector. As for the truck driver that lost the truck and load, he is not competent to drive a truck again. It does not take much to see what happened here.

I think the truck driver was calling them f*** amateurs for the landing of the truck, which I agree with how Donnie does some of his jobs, most of the other towing channels I watch use catch lines for a gentle touch down, but pretty funny since he rolled the truck, so who is the amateur?
@Towtruck_Dustin Жыл бұрын
The purpose of a catch line is to stop it from rolling towards you, which is generally only a concern on high profile vehicles. Absolutely zero damage was incurred from rolling the truck back over on its wheels like this.

Some guys use straps more than you guys, they are sure lighter. I didn't see your catch, why don't you use one?
@Towtruck_Dustin Жыл бұрын
Because a catch line isn’t necessary unless you suspect the casualty is going to have a potential to roll over towards you when you right it. That’s generally only a concern on higher profile vehicles, like box trailers and such.
