I tend to find its pickup truck and big SUV drivers they're either hauling ass, or poking along taking 10 years to accelerate. they also tend to go half a mile an hour over speed bumps and railroad tracks even though they're in a damn pickup truck.. And Subaru drivers excluding WRX and STI.. it's always some outback or Forester poking along in the passing Lane. Prius isn't that slow of a car actually it's just too many idiot tree huggers that think pussy footing around is the way to save fuel. It's actually not, surge and coast is your best way to drive it, put your foot in the damn gas pedal accelerate up to the speed limit at about half throttle and then coast. Yes I drive a Prius cuz I do a rideshare..most of the time I'm on the other side of the intersection before the other cars is even get moving. There certainly are idiot Prius drivers out there but I find a lot of other idiots out there driving other vehicles too. drive 800-1000 miles a week so I definitely get to see what's going on out there more than your average driver.

I understand that if you translate the BMW alarm into English, it roughly translates to “I need to speak to your manager, do you know who I am?!?” The higher end model BMW’s have a different translation, “I know the owner, and I WILL get you fired! The ” not to be confused with those BMW’s that have been around the block a few times, you know the ones, sold, repo’d, re-sold, repo’d multiple times by the same car lot that also specializes in title loans. Those alarms are a little different, It gets activated so much, there is a play list, a few favorites are: *You better unhook my F#£&ing car right now!, *You’re a racist! *I don’t see no signs*, *I was only here for a minute, *The office tole me I could park here, *I will sue you!, and many, many more.

If the complex does not enforce parking in fire and travel lanes, the local govt can levy expensive code violations against the complex owners. Some cities consider them as serious as violations related to non-habitability of apartments when rating quality of apartment managements.

If that apartment complex is anything like most I've seen here in southern Oregon is there will be a sign posted at every entrance to the place that usually states something about "NO PARKING OTHER THAN AUTHORIZED SPACES - VIOLATION OF RULE TO BE TOWED AT OWNER'S EXPENSE". And that sign makes the property management legal to tow any car parking other than authorized locations. Those signs are the warning. Expensive lessons on how to read all signs. Tow all violators including the BMWs. They even parked in front of other cars. I'm amazed they didn't park in front of those garage doors.

I lived in California when those ridiculous things came out to the mass market. If I remember correctly it was some guy from Santa Cruz who invented/engineered that car, and at first they were like $8k..... Don't know if he sold the business or what after that... You couldn't pay me to drive one. And yes you get multiple likes for the beamer being towed!! ESPECIALLY because they think because they drive a beamer they can block others in.
