I have 3 kids and was walking out of Kroger around Christmas time. I had a older man walk up and hand me $300 to get my kids presents with. I was in a bad rut at that point and that man doesn’t realize how he helped me but he was a blessing. He said to make sure I use it for Christmas and I did , every penny of it. You are definitely blessing someone every time you hand them money some more then others. Thanks for what you do. ✌️

Apartments have rules, they include them in the lease, they do not have room for non-runners, wrecks or whatever. If you want to store a non-runner, take it to a storage company and pay by the month. Don't expect your landlord to allow it. Imagine living in an apartment, where a lot of the parking was taken up by non-running vehicles. You would want them gone!
@angeliqueillstopprocrastin4793 жыл бұрын
Yep-and the people complaining about this would be the first ones complaining when they didn't have anywhere to park near their apt because of the non-running junk cars at their building if the managers didn't tow them.

We, my husband and I, have been towed twice. 1st time we were towed from our first apartment, right after we got married, & the 2nd my husband didn’t want to pay for us to park & go to the state fair. I told him to just pay, but he didn’t want to, so he parked in a strip mall. Well, we got towed. I was mad at him & told him it was his fault & he didn’t have the right to get angry with the tow company. He fussed & fumed about it, but didn’t get upset with the tow company. People that haven’t lived in an apartment don’t get it about the rules. thifty bill, you are correct. The ones griping about what Johnny is doing, would be the first ones to gripe if they lived in an apartment or has an HOA & there wasn’t anyplace for them to park because people weren’t following the rules.

I agree with you. I also think some of these people just sign on the dotted line and never fully read their lease agreements. Even though my vehicle is damaged, it still runs and drives and I keep the insurance and registration current. In fact I'm due to renew my registration in Sept

Predatory is when the tow company takes the “no parking “ sign down, then puts it back when someone is parked there. The were a couple companies in Philly that did that awhile back.

My dad was a mechanic for over 50 years. He would fix someone's brakes and they would come back a week later saying he broke their radio. One has nothing to do with the other but they still tried. I imagine tow drivers go through similar problems.

It's actually pretty common for a quality repair to then uncover and "create" another problem, due to the repaired system working normally again.
@mannydcbianco2 жыл бұрын
The parking situation got so bad in the apartment complex where my sister lived, because of scumbags parking wherever they wanted whenever they wanted and completely ignored the fact that many of the parking spots were assigned and paid for by other residents. They kept towing but it just never stopped, so finally they installed remote controlled folding bollards for the assigned parking spaces. That fixed the problem, but it cost a small fortune to have 100+ parking spots secured with bollards.

The only people who could possibly be calling this predatory and wrong is almost guaranteed the same people that habitually parks in places where they're not allowed to because they're inconsiderate, entitled and narcissistic. Like people who park in handicap spots without handicap parking permits, people who park and take up multiple spaces, people who park blocking driveways or intersections, people who double parallel park on a street "just to run into Starbucks" and so on. Everyone else in the world appreciate people like Johnny doing their jobs and making it easier for the rest of us to find legal parking when we need it.

Another good one, Johnny! Funny how those haters saying you're being predatory with the towing and don't even know the whole story. I wonder how they'd feel if they worked their buts off just grinding when everyone else is resting and decided to invest in some property, bought or built some apartments to make some legitimate money and then they decide to rent to some lowlife or entitled person without goals or aspirations, Would they just let them do whatever they wanted to do on their property simply because they pay rent? I'd bet those same people would be the first in line to sue the owner if their cars were vandalized while parked there. Life MUST have rules or else there is chaos. Anyway......stay safe, Johnny and GOD bless America!

Those that complain about the towing are more than likely those who don't keep their cars registered, LEGALLY, like the rest of us do. Or let their cars go to crap, on someone else's property. Because an apartment complex IS private property, you are renting to stay on that property, it does not belong to you. And maybe read your lease agreement. But those that complain are the ones dumping their cars on people's property, etc etc etc. It's not hard to keep your registration up to date, have valid insurance, and to take basic care of the vehicle. And it's not hard to COMMUNICATE to your property manager if you are having a problem, being proactive instead of reactive. It's about maturity, and accountability. It's life, driving is a privilege. Period. You keep doing the great job you are doing Johnny..... It's incredible to me how people can treat the second most expensive purchase you will make in your life as disposable. Like cars are a wet wipe or something. Smh. Yeah I'd like to have a brand new Kia soul, since my current one is a 2015 with almost a 100k miles on it, but I'm incredibly grateful I have my car...... People really need to get back to that, being grateful for what they have, and having some morals.
