On the up side, as far as I can tell, a farmer owning his or her own land is the only occupation in which you have no boss, and you answer to (and beg) no one but the Almighty God. One might call the lender a boss, but they have no say in your operations or production.

@@hotshotgamer2124 if you look very closely as I do, you will observe the opposite. He later secured them for the ride to impound but when initially picking up, he doesn’t. They aren’t legally supposed to move the vehicle at all until secured. Just because he hasn’t had one come off yet, doesn’t mean he won’t. Putting the safety of others in top priority is the legal and morally correct thing to do. If he is so scared then it may be, this isn’t the best job for him

Well, I once lived an apartment complex that had very limited parking and parked both our cars in front a emergency gate that was never open and woke up to find both of them towed! I wasn't very happy about it. The manager let me deduct the price of impound out of the rent and helped me get covered parking for both of them. I raised hell at the office that's why. So in a way they did pay for it with me. I'm sure this doesn't happen too offend.

It happened with a car I towed. The apartment complex made a mistake, they had been making a lot of mistakes, so many that my company wouldn't give another car back for free. The apartment complex paid for the car to get released.

@Mark Smith simple solution is parking tags at the apartment complex. Anyone without on there longer than 24 hrs gets yanked. Each unit gets 2 tags max.

It does happen bc I've made a former complex pay. The little tyrant managers don't look up the laws before they call and the tow companies make a crap ton of money from the apartments, the people that pay to get their cars back, and the unclaimed cars they sell. It's truly a scam. Anyways, in my state the manager has to give notice to the tenant and include why it's at risk of being towed I clouding giving them x amount of days. Also they have to have the legal code reference on the tow signs, which my complex did not. A got a sticker and the next day a tow drive had broke in to put it in park, and caused damage. The tow company wasn't liable bc they worked off of the assumption the apartment followed the law. Thus the apartment was legally liable and a judge agreed when I sued them.
