Love this message. My mother is 93 yrs young this women is amazing she is a two time cancer survivor and that’s because of her positive attitude. She does her own cooking, housework, and laundry. She walks every day she has a walker because she fell a few years ago but that for not stop her she walks even in the snow. She puts makeup on everyday takes care of her face and body. She inspires me tremendously. So a positive attitude will help you get thru anything. Thank you for sharing! 😊❤

Very nice message. Sense of purpose is very important. I retired from being a Physician Assistant and at age 65 decided to go back to school and get my doctorate in clinical psychology. I became extremely interested in working with the military. So at age 68 I graduated Summa Cum Laude and found a job right away working with the military. My boss is 90 years old extremely busy man with his psychology practice and he tells me he plans to continue until he's 100 years old LOL. Just recently was talking to a client who is separating from the military and his dream is to be a doctor. I told him my story and he thought LOL LOL I was 50 years old. No, I am 70 now so he found it very inspiring for him to go back to school and pursue his dream. So we can be an inspiration to others. Guess what I also have an esthetician license and love make up, skin care, and last year decided to go gray. I went through a complicated surgery I did well, but like you, decided I'm done with coloring and high lights and I feel free.

Excellent, Nikol! Thank you! I am re-making myself at age 66. I look and feel better now than I did when I was 50 and definitely love myself a lot more. Your makeup tutorials are helping quite a bit with the physical side of my PTSD recovery! I'm lucky to have had a mother who approached aging the same way you do. She had always wanted to play the violin, so she started taking lessons at age 50. Within 10 years, she was playing in the local symphony and at bluegrass festivals!. At 65 she also took up BAGPIPES!!! Now she's 96 and still gets upset if she can't get her hair done. No dementia or other mental problems. And get this--she has been physically handicapped her entire life but never let it get her down. Her attitude is always positive, like yours. Keep up the good work!

Wow thank you so much for sharing these tips and your thoughts. I’ve recently retired after working in the accounting field where the environment was professional dress, so lots of suits, stockings and pumps. I used to get my hair dyed every month and styled my hair daily for work. I’ve always worn makeup. I now watch my 2 year old granddaughter 4 times a week and wear jeans and T-shirts or casual tops but I still wear makeup, style my hair and wear jewelry. I take my granddaughter for a daily 2-3 mile walk every morning. People ask me why I still wear makeup or style my hair just to go for a walk. I do that for me. I feel better about myself. I feel that if I look better I actually feel better. I also take pride in my home. I always make my bed, I daily straighten up around my house, wash dishes after eating, eat a hearty breakfast, read my bible and I love to cook so I’m constantly trying out new recipes. I always look forward to Monday and Friday for your videos. You are very uplifting. I’ve purchased many of the drugstore products you have suggested and am grateful for those little things that help me look my best. God bless you for your transparency and sincere attitude. You are beautiful inside and out.

I was watching a person on YT in the beauty community talk about how depressed they were that they were getting older, 40...it's not old! She is already planning plastic surgery. My heart just sunk to my ankles because the true beauty is not on the outside. I have almost 25 years on her and I love my age! I love my wrinkles! I love my gray hair! I find the mindset of feeling like having to get plastic surgery a byproduct of something that's missing inside. She is beautiful the way she is.

Nicole , thank you for this beautiful message. It really hit home for me. I am 65 and in February of 2020 I retired. During the pandemic, my marriage of 38 years ended. I moved from my home of 30 years and for the first time in my life, I’m on my own. Both children are married with their own lives. After the dust settled I kept looking back and thinking of my mistakes. But nothing is a mistake. If anything, a lesson. I started my own consulting business and now work according to my schedule. I go to Pilates and joined silver sneakers. I’m busier than ever volunteering with the American Legion. You are 100% correct. It’s never too late! 🤗

Besides the wonderful & uplifting messages you impart, over time, you are consistent in these messages. You are honest and genuine and having watched your videos, always delivering the same messages which is great. This one in particular applies to all people, young or older because it is really a 'way of life' that you are describing. I was fortunate that at 22 I met a group of people who were in their late 70's and they were unbelievable. Even at their age they were busy with their projects, writing, starting small businesses, working in their communities and just active, alive & living lives of purpose. We all have the ability to choose how we approach each day, and this was an excellent reminder of that. Thank you for your message, it's a great way to start the week. : )

I, too, experienced the IVF roller coaster. One of the most harrowing times of my life, sadly I wasn’t successful in that I bore no children. I learned a lot about myself because I found IVF makes you selfish. It’s all about me. What injection to take when and how much and on and on. I discovered I didn’t like that at all. After the intensity of that cycle, I felt let down mostly and empty. There was no emphasis on mental health only the physical aspects. Like you, it made me stronger and with the wonderful support system that is my husband, I climbed out of that hole. Now that I’m 66, my life is full and while I don’t regret not having children, there are moments of “what if?”. There is a reason for everything and I’m simply grateful to feel grateful!

I don't usually comment on videos, but I feel compelled to. There is no one on social media who tackles issues of ageing, both large and small, as consistently and beautifully as you do. As they say, ageing is not for sissies, but it's all about mindset. I love the fact that you approach everything with love and compassion, both for yourself and others. The next time some lunatic makes a nasty comment about your enviable eyebrows, be armored with the knowledge that what you do REALLY MATTERS to more women than you can possibly imagine. Be well

I think I needed to hear this message from You Nikol, without going into too much of my personal life But it’s changing it ways I never thought possible, some not in a good way, well mostly not in a good way if I’m honest with myself, people praze me for what I’m doing But they don’t see the pressure, stress and strain I’m under in the process 😢, I don’t seem to have any time to myself anymore and to do the things I love to do, there never seems to be enough hours in a day. I know I need to make that time but it’s hard when your not sleeping and still have to do all the things that are expected of me, sometimes I just feel like running away and hiding from the world and everything in it, I know there’s people out there worse off than me But this is My Life I’m talking about. Thank You for sharing some positivity, even if it was only for a short time to listen to. Blessings from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺❤️❤️❤️

Nikol: Thanks for this grounding message, needed to hear this. I've been thinking about creating a gratitude list, but your message inspired me to create a GRATITUDE Board so that everyday I list 5 things that I am grateful for. 💕

I’m about to be 70! Wow. I’m a touring musician and produce my own cds in my studio here in Central Texas! I’m greatly inspired after giving years and years to taking care of family (and then my own illness which left me with big obstacles. Ex: I couldn’t hear! I found a program that is helping me with hearing aids and I’m back at it). Working on my 3rd cd! Going slow, but going….. I can sure use a beauty mentor cause that’s never been my forte! Need guitar lessons or a cd made, or a musician for inspired music? Ring my chimes! Thanks y’all.

Nikol🧡 Love this! We need to change the dialogue on aging, we are harming a huge generation of women and men, that are so afraid to age because they look at women over 40 and 50, that have completely botched their faces or done things to it in an effort to look younger, when in reality it just looks older. I say this with absolute love because I see it every day with new clients, in our salons. They literally cry in our chairs because they may have changed their faces but they didnt change their inner self and have even less self confidence. We must show that aging is beautiful and fabulous. We need to find purpose and ways to give back🙌🏻 giving back changes our mind, body and soul. As we age we have more time and we need to embrace that. I have been preaching this for years! Wonderful video. Happily 56 and grateful 🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa

Love this message!! I am often reminded (by my sweet husband) how old, at 68, we are. He is ill so I understand, but I need to tell him how that bothers me. I am overweight and clinically Depressed and Anxious, so it’s harder for me to be positive. We haven’t been out of town for 2+ years. I didn’t know you went through IVF, and so did my daughter. She did have a baby. Our son and I can’t talk to her without her complaining about her really fortunate life. So we just have our son. Being overweight, is so important to me. It’s not normal for me. Yet I do have gratitude for all the many things God has given me. I just need to practice it!! Thank you for reminding me, Nikol, of how positivity and gratitude make a difference‼️❤️
