Conclusion: the reason he did it was she found out that an end of life cancer treatment drug was being outrageously priced and both he and her wanted to expose them but when she said she was going to give away all the money they would have gotten for this he came up with a plan to discredit her by this drug so he alone could be the one to expose the drug company but once he found out she would be traveling with kids he tried to call the police to warn them and stop her

Why would someone be watching the news on their work computer at high volume like that? Right in the middle of the office where people are working and police are questioning someone right next to her 😂.

The big hole in this story is he tried to discredit her because she planned to donate all the whistleblower money to charity. Thing is since they're BOTH whistleblowing, the money would be split between the two. But for some reason he/the writers act like she got to decide where the money went even though, realistically, they'd both get their own cuts to do whatever the hell they wanted with. He had NO reason to do this.

SHE was the whistleblower. HE only wanted to follow her for the money.

@@happybkwrm From what I recall in the episode they were BOTH gonna whistle blow. I'm guessing the writers just forgot or ignored how the law works.

@@JustAJinx-ci6hg Not a nit-pick when it straight up ignores how the law works. God forbid they get the law aspect of LAW & Order correct.
