There was a priest that decided to go out for a morning jog. On his way, he noticed a young boy selling bagels for 25 cents. The priest took out a quarter and tossed it to the boy. The boy looked confused because the priest kept on jogging and didn't get his bagel. The boy just assumed that the priest didn't want to take it with him jogging and would get the bagel on the way back at the end of the run, but the priest never returned. The next day the same thing happened. The priest tossed a quarter to the boy, but didn't take his bagel. This happened every day for a whole week. The priest took the next week off from jogging. But the following monday he was back at it again. He again tossed a quarter to the boy but kept on jogging. This time the boy hurriedly ran after the priest asking him to stop. The priest stopped, turned and walked back to the boy, smiling. "I bet you wonder why I keep giving you a quarter but don't take a bagel, right?" "No", the boy answered. "I just wanted to let you know the price of bagels went up. They're 50 cents now."
