I just want to say that I feel your pain being a true Spurs fan at this unprecedented moment in your history, you've encapsulated everything that I thought about your club fan base. In my opinion that is exactly what is wrong with the your fan base. Ange is pointing out, inter alia, that a fan does not want their own team to lose, but that's exactly what a large proportion of these so-called "fans" did very loudly in the stadium yesterday, cheering for the opposition to win. Why would he, a manager with a winning mentality and trying to inculcate that into Spurs, manage a club with such a loser mentality among so much of the "fan" base in such a public display of disloyalty? Yes, the problem is within the fanbase, but it is not all the fans. I think that the media have really picked up the narrative and run with it. There have always been terrible fans in the mix, but usually their voices are quieter and in the background. All of the media has brought them to the fore and given them the limelight that they so desire. They are not the majority. They are just the story that gets the clicks and the views. I believe the Ange will give the media something else to focus on when he starts up next season like a storm, despite all of these bullshit storylines.

The toxicity that is going on in social media is not for me. I'm a fan for 60 years and in that time I haven't once wanted anything other than a win for my club. I have seen Arsenal win so many titles/cups that I really don't care if they win another, but that's just me. I was so pumped up by our performance and was rising from the chair when Sonny was through on goal !!! About 5th, that I don't really care about, like top 4 it's not a trophy, Arsenal not looking like winning the title, that's not a trophy for Spurs. The only thing that matters to me is Spurs winning games and hopefully trophies, the rest I don't care. Tottenham are a big club. They should want to play in Europe. I get the hate for Arsenal… but I’d want my club winning trophies. I’ve never wanted my team to lose a match.

Right there with you, I understand rivalries but to see the joy in their faces as the game unfolded not in our favour is baffling , there is pride in what you do, you would never have an AFL or League team supporters with this mentality, its bewildering , no wonder this club will only ever be there to make up numbers.

I think it’s different for uk based fans as you will hear it from arsenal fans until the day you die. Arsenal fans were saying they’d sooner not win the ueffa cup if it meant spurs didn’t win the champions league. Plus the media magnified the situation. Had spurs been challenging for the league then mindset would be different. Easy for part time supporters from other countries as you won’t face it daily at work etc…. As for bill he would of been challenging for the league title not 4th place Problem with football these days is mediocrity only team qualifying for champions league should be the winners football just about money these days I want spurs to win every game but I can see point of view from both sides and not one to criticise others for their opinions, I’ve seen other fans who support other clubs have similar opinions to those spurs fans who weren’t bothered about winning one game against Man City

We have a bizarre toxic fan base. This is not how a Tottenham supporters should behave. I think they love being this faux victims and everyone is at fault in there warped minds. It's Levy's fault, it's the player's fault, it's Sonny's fault, it's Ange's fault etc. Shameful!!!!! They have no self-awareness and maybe its their fault for not supporting the boys and the managers. How can anyone in their right mind, wish that the club they profess to support, lose because of some damn rivalry. This mentality is sick and twisted. There is a Korean proverb, "If you treasure something to much it eventually loses it's value." These faux fans love hating Arsenal more than their love for Tottenham. There was hardly any chants and it was chillingly quiet, but when Man City got their second goal these idiots started chanting about Arsenal. I think I said something similar about the fan base when I started watching your channel, Paul. But you gave these toxic fans the benefit of the doubt. But I think you see what I have seen for the last 5 years as a Tottenham supporter. Ange said basically something is rotten inside and outside the club and I hope he is here long enough to change this loser mentality.
