Most non-musicians don’t know but pop songs are usually easy as compared to some classic pieces. People usually appreciate pop songs more as they don’t know the classical pieces well. I’m no violist but I’ve played a fair amount of piano and throughout my life I’ve hardly seen any random person who has no musical talent appreciate classical music to the full extent but gets extremely exited when I play some Ariana Grande pop song which is super easy lmao
