I get what you mean about a stalker. I’ve had the same one for over 8 years. He does just enough not to do enough police wise. I’ve learned to just not get bothered by it now which he doesn’t like so he goes quite for ages which is good then something gets him started again. He won’t win x

Re: baby reindeer. As a victim of abuse and stalking, I found it all very relatable. And when you're in those situations, you dont make logical choices. As he said, he was addicted to hating himself. It was a guaranteed hit of feeling something, it's a form of self harm.

I wouldn't even say it's Eurovision fans per se doing this, I've noticed it's mostly people from the country you criticize getting offended because you don't like their country's entry, and this gets especially worse when the song is popular in their country.

That’s music ! We all hear and appreciate different things surely. It doesn’t mean one person is right and the other wrong otherwise there wouldn’t be different genres of music and it would be boring. I like rock music and to my sister it’s just a noise but I don’t tell her she doesn’t know what she’s talking about I just accept she doesn’t hear what I hear. We get together every year to watch Eurovision and this year I’m looking after my grandchildren and will introduce them to it. It should be fun

I watched Baby Reindeer now because of you. I do have to say that ab*se is really not that simple to most victims. I survived a public incident when I was 12 and I remember a man pulling the person off of me and beating him to bits. I never spoke to him (my rescuer) again, but I remember the choice to report the ab*ser, in which the man (eye witness) promised to help testifying. I never did and people who know what happened don't understand why I didn't. The shame, the trauma and the determination to never speak or think of it again... Those are very reasonable reasons to why victims don't report crimes that are being commited. In my situation it luckily happended once, but I can understand in case of baby reindeer that his past traumas, self esteem and fears are way stronger factors in his 'survival' than with me. And even I wasn't strong enough to face what happened. I feel for this man who was the actual victim and I understand the choices he made...

I reacted to your reaction to the Dutch entry. Somehow I felt like those comments were one of the worst. I reacted that I was sad that it didn't do for you what it did for me, but that I appreciated that you voiced your opinion despite the public opinion. That is why I follow you. Of course I hope to see our opinions align, but it doesn't mean that either of us is wrong when we don't 😅 And yes I am Dutch and proud of our entry. Is it a winner though? Not in my opinion. I just hope he delivers and maybe finishes top 5 ❤

I don’t follow Eurovision, but I’m a GIANT Spice Girls/Victoria Beckham fan. You’ve covered them with your honest professional opinion, and I loved your reactions - even of Victoria! I hate that people are so mean and nasty in the comments. We can disagree and have discussions, but no need to be rude. Btw, I agree with your Victoria reactions. She wasn’t an exceptional vocalist at all, but there’s always been something about her that I love. ❤

You're allowed an opinion, but so is everyone else. You put yourself out there, people are going to comment and critique your opinion and disagree with you. The comments you read out don't seem too bad (apart from the delulu one) tbh. If they upset you, maybe don't read them.

I too think that some comments you read here are over the top and partially attacks towards you that shouldn't be that way cause like you said its your personal opinion and everyone has theirs so it is how it is and everyone should accept it that we all have different ones. At the end of the day there are tons of different reactors and ESC people online that give their predictions or use partially totally inaccurate simulators to predict the results of the grand finals, even we don't even know for sure who will actually qualify and only speculate, ignoring the fact that staging and the live performance at the semis will make or break some entries and might gives us several surprises on entries we thought will qualify but then they bomb and are not. I have been watching you for many years Georgina and no matter what you said or did I never disrespected you in any way. The only thing I ever said (which unfortunately is true and everyone that watches the video can see it with their own eyes) was that I found it sad that your video about the Greece entry was treated unfair because you looked as if you wanna rush through it and be done with it only focusing on the videoclip and nothing else. In all other entries you talked about the vocals, checked the lyrics, talked about the videos, the clothing, literally everything. In the greece video you only said once "she has a nice voice" and then kept repeating "I'm confused, what am I watching, this is confusing, what is going on" and then ended it. When someone acts like this people notice and if you got any bad comments under that one then I understand why they did it because your behaviour at that one came across very bad to fans. That's why one of the guys/gals there even said "you call yourself the honest coach?". Anyway, at the end of the day it's the internet so you will meet good and bad people like in everyday life so just take the constructive critisizm and the positivines with you and just ignore the trolls that think they can hurt you only because you have a different opinion then them, is the only thing I can give you as a friendly advice. :)

I thought the same about the moss stitch and takes for ever to grow , no good for a blanket unless you have lots of time , The colour lovely tho, I’ve used that one , try the bean stitch I’ve mentioned before it’s my favourite very pretty and grows fast ,Alison Russell on you tube explains beautifully , it’s a joy to do also, good luck , there’s such horrid people on internet ignore if you can , you have so much on at any one time , you do t need this , I so love how Edward sleeps a lot of the time on the blanket you made , I’d give up on the Eurovision Iff it upsets you life is to precious as you know , take care keep well xxx

I said that to my son yesterday that people think they are entitled to an opinioin and they don't care if they hurt, harm, injure, destroy or just be downright ignorant and they speak about us, We can't speak about ourselves, but all the time, how wrong people get it. I enjoy watching your comments. Yoo point things that I sometimes don't see and that's what is great about having different opinions. If we would think alike what would be reason to follow someone else? The best thing about Eurovision fans is that diversity. That is pushing Eurovision getting better. Unfortunately many Eurovision fans take it personally and are very mean not only towards other fans but also performers. I was shocked in 2017 how Eurovision fans were mean and evil towards Belgium singer Blanche and 2022 towards Spanish singer Chanel. To say it brought them to tears would be understatement. Chanel had to shout all her internet profiles, not watch TV and to isolate herself to keep sanity for two months before Eurovision. Eurovision has the best and worse fans. But those who are complaining the most are usually the ones that even don't vote. Even this sad political situation worldwide showed me that so many fans are not true ones but fake by criticizing Russia or Israel. Whatever is happening should not be brought to Eurovision at all. Anyway keep up great work and don't let someone affect you. If someone can not express constructive criticism should get a life.

I think the reason why people commented badly on the videos is because your predictions were based on personal taste, not what you actually think is going to qualify or not, because that’s what people expect you to do in a “prediction” video.

There's no need for people to be so nasty online. Your predictions are your predictions, and if people can't deal with that and understand that people have different likes and dislikes, then that's on them! Try not to let it get to you! Music is subjective! We're all not going to like the same songs.

I am so sorry about what some people have said to you and I do NOT agree with it at all. BUT, to be fair, most people in the comments were just saying there's a difference in predicting what WILL qualify and what you HOPE will qualify. If it's your personal favourite songs then just call it that. When I make my predictions there are a lot of songs I don't like but I know or think they will qualify. One example is Greece. The song is not my cup of tea but I'm fairly certain it will qualify. I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I tried to be as respectful as I could. Btw I'm from Iceland and I know you don't really like our song and put it almost in the bottom but I can't get mad at you for that, it's just your opinion. Oh Georgina, sorry to see you feel so down in this video. I think that's the reason you felt so bothered by the comments, because you were already feeling off. You've been doing reactions and Eurovision for so long that you should be used to it... Eurovision just invokes that sort of 'passion' unfortunately. Maybe when you're already feeling down, take a step back from social media and only read the comments when you feel more up to handling them? In regards to the shop, I said from the start getting a physical shop wasn't necessary. Shops just don't get the same footfall they used to and overheads are so ridiculously high you have to earn an awful lot just to cover them. Most businesses in your field do well just selling online, so if that's working why not just give up the shop and just keep focusing on that? You won't have as many expenses and you also won't have to sit in the shop everyday! I've also said all along that the shop lost focus and adding all the antiques was a mistake...it's not clear anymore that it's a crystal shop and focus has been taken away from the crystals. It doesn't have a clear identity, but I understand that the antiques side of things helped bring in some money. I think you would save yourself a huge headache just focusing on your online presence and doing the odd market like you were before. Hope you don't mind me sharing my opinion. I hope you're feeling better 🙏🥰

This year the Eurovision fandom is more toxic than ever, the biggest eurovision fan group on Facebook just continues fueling the fire non stop to the point where I've stopped caring about results. I'm just supporting my own country and enjoy every song as different styles of art. People just need to get a grip and realise that if you have an opinion that feel strongly about, doesn't mean you are right. I’ve had this from Spanish fans. Why? Because I don’t like the staging and costumes. Just don’t think it’s right when families are watching. The abuse!!!! It’s was terrible. Accusing me of all sorts of nasty stuff too!! Just because my kids’ reaction was “oh no way that’s disgusting” and stating that they don’t want to see “boys bottoms everywhere!” I was called a repressive and unfit parent!!! And worse. It’s pure cyber bullying.

The Eurovision fandom is extremely toxic every year, Georgina. I’ve told you before but I understand your frustration. And yeah the political discussion comes up every year as well. I don’t know if you reacted to 🇮🇱 though, if I’m being honest, but it’s okay if you haven’t, because apparently YT Eurovision reaction content creators are boycotting the entry. I don’t get why Eden has to pay for the entire horrible situation in that area, especially when she clearly has talent and a great voice, but that’s just me. It’s fine if you haven’t, can’t remember. I’ve been in so many fb groups in the past few years regarding Eurovision that I literally had to leave because everyone was a toxic music expert and I absolutely hated/despised it. So yeah, it’s definitely something. I don’t know, but I get the frustration.

There is a difference between giving critic and just being rude. I was one of the ones that left a comment saying something like “hope you are wrong with your guesses for qualifications” on one of those videos. But wasn’t rude about it (at least I think so). It’s not rude to disagree, it’s rude to be rude.
