Toxicity is when you let your emotions about something in general taint your experience of something specific. For example, I could let my emotional response to paying more than I should have for a product I enjoy overwhelm my enjoyment of that product. I could let someone else's emotional response affect my experience of something. Toxic positivity is when someone convinces you to buy something by misrepresenting and overestimating the positive aspects of something. Many people have paid more than they should have for many products, but that's the way you learn. Buy something and it goes down in price. Buy it again. Goes down again. Buy it again. Keeps going down. Keep buying. What did we learn? Ah yes, we are learning patience.

Card collecting of any genre is a risky proposition if you are in it trying to find your fortune. Especially if you are doing it buying random packs hoping to hit the mother load. Slightly less risky if you buy certain cards and know how to flip them. If you love the cards and can afford the collecting hobby it can be awesome. If your budget is more restricted you need to exercise restraint and work within your means while still enjoying your hobby. Unfortunately some people don't, overextend themselves, and get mad when certain things tank. It isn't unique to metazoo. Often individuals need to look in the mirror for who to be upset with, at least partially.

ngl I'm not worried about supply for this set. Ultimately demand is what sets long term price, people will keep buying all the way down if they want it. Conversely you can have a print run of 10 that's worthless if no one wants it. KCC is a long term sleeper like CN2.

When the entire print run is dumped on the market at the release, this is what happens. The print run could be lower than Cryptid Nation 1st Edition for all we know, it doesn’t matter because it all hit the market at the same time.

All of the drama with this Sanrio set is EXACTLY what they were waiting for. That in essence proves there weakness. Literally everything they criticize (mistakes or not) is exactly what evey other company has done... but metazoo is the biggest offender all, all of a sudden.. truly week minded people.

For me the game mechanics really sell MetaZoo. Like you said... "It's a card game." Yet it seems like most people are just in it for the investment value. If you're not playing the game, in my opinion, you shouldn't be buying a game. The only thing negative I have to say about it is that without previous experience with similar games, the learning curve is fairly steep. Most people actually buying the cards... whether for themselves or for their kids... don't have the time to invest into learning it. After all, without a job, you can't afford to be buying cards.

That was something that REALLY put me off on the game. I find tcg finance very fascinating but I don't understand buying tcg cards just to look at them. I also think that not playing puts you on an awful disadvantage on finance because you won't understand what makes a card have value from play. Your not alone on the learning curve. I've played and ran tcg events since 97 and I'm finding the icons really intimation.

Honestly i would guess the majority are just upset because items are not doing well financially. Most of these people don't care about gameplay or anything other than how much they spend and are able to make in return.

Yeah some sets do have desired cards outside the FH only class. I’d still like a larger hit pool from the class of cards where anyone can say “oh! I got one of those!” for what would be imo an overall improved consumer experience.

Toxicity: Hearing something you don't like. I swear I dont have a behavioral disoder. I just find tcg markets and play very interesting. I do watch a lot of Zoo content. I find it very facinating to go from you to Uwu to get all sides of the situations. At this point I'm hoping the Zoo boat stays afloat cause I plan on buying a deck or two.
