Actually, the cops in the greenhouse lying on the ground weren't dead. They were just unconscious. If you'd done the interaction thing -- it's "e" on PC, I don't know which on PS -- they'd have gotten up, thanked you, and run out, and if you'd one 8, it's a Feat, I think. There are a bunch of Feats like that in instances, and a bunch of instances have unmarked interactions. You have to be experimental and try interactions in places where it isn't marked. IMPORTANT NOTE! It NEVER hurts to try! This works for cops in Joker's Funhouse, and various instances and for fallen Amazons in some instances, and so on. There are also instances where destroying certain unmarked classes of objects are a Feat, like gas tanks in the Lighthouse.

To quote the Wiki: "In Combat, all weapon attacks excluding basic melee and ranged attacks are classified as either Interrupts or Block Breakers. Interrupting attacks disrupt attacks that are Vulnerable to Interrupt but are Vulnerable to Block. Blocks disrupt Interrupting attacks but are Vulnerable to Block Breaking. Block Breakers break Blocks but are Vulnerable to Interrupt. When hit by a counter mechanism that the player is currently vulnerable to, they are knocked down and take some damage, creating a rock-paper-scissors scenario. Counter damage is based on Precision. Most Basic attacks are not Interrupts or Block Breakers and are not Vulnerable to Interrupt but may be Vulnerable to Block after a number of hits. Some slower Basic ranged attacks are Block Breakers and are Vulnerable to Interrupt. A small icon over a player or NPC's head shows which combat mechanism they are using."

But then it goes on with a bit more power and weapon specific detail as well, Google it.

Oh, OK, glad to see it was as simple as that you hadn't realized how to block. 🙂 I think you may also be not hitting the key to choose your loot? Again, I don't know which that is on PS. On PC it's "L" for loot, which I realize isn't much help, but when your mission ends, you have the icon come up on your screen, so pay attention and make the choice that it signals you, okay? You don't want to miss out on making your own choice of loot!

Arggh, it is painful to watch you just ignoring all the Investigations and not clicking to interact and listen to them. You can always hear them nearby by their characteristic tone, and then see them glowing green or blue, with their floating color, both outdoors and inside.

@@valid9: they are, somewhat. Each investigation is part of a set of 7 to 11 or so and completing the set gives you a piece of gear or style or accessory or source marks! Also, each gives you a piece of audio lore and the set tells you a little story, either about the local mission or, depending on whether it's a Global Investigation or seasonal or local, one appropriate to those categories. Really, you want to do all these things available in the game because they're all ultimately there for reasons. Well, some stuff is obsolete, but mostly otherwise. Also, fly up as high as u can over Gotham and Metropolis sometime just for the views. 🙂 And do the Exploration missions from the kiosks in the Police Stations. Plus remember you can Group with other people to get missions done faster. It's good to start getting in the habit because u need to do that to do 4 person Alerts and 2 person Duos and 8 person Raids which is how you do the game after the tutorial finishes after level 30, which is coming soon, and you really start the main game and 97% of the content. It's also where you may want to start want to learn healing because so many people want to just be a dps (you can otherwise heal, be a tank, or be a controller/troll (power-give/crowd controller), though it's a choice, and you can always start another character with another power from 0 again. 🙂
