1:00 They added a system that can recognize a players skill level, it happened to me too, on my alt I was up against newbies and stomped them, but as I won more and more, I ended up getting paired against players around my own skill level 1:58:00 Sure as hell makes me feel better about myself, I run into those situations way too many times

It’s refreshing seeing an “unranked to gm” where 1) it’s not just a top 500 player saying “look how terrible bronze players are” cos you are versing masters and you actually have to play properly still, and 2) someone who actually calls out their teams mistakes instead of saying it’s never your teams fault… like yes, if you are good enough you’ll eventually climb, but a lot of the time, it is seriously your teams fault, unfortunately I’m not good enough to overcome this yet, but some people flat out just say nah, it’s never anyone else’s fault for a team fight loss

Guys how do I beat Zarya, bastion, Torb on tank? I’ve climbed to mid-masters, and honestly now I cannot get past mid-diamond. Whenever I am doing well on sig, ball, or dva, the other team goes bastion, Zarya, Torb and I get destroyed. I know there is always a skill issue but as a tank I can’t seem to figure out how to deal with that much damage and chunkiness in the enemy team. I’m mid-gm support so I know the game but I want to climb on tank and I can’t beat that comp

Depending on who’s getting the most value there are different answers. If the zar is getting value then getting your dps to space her out with hitscan can really favor you in a quick fight bc she’ll just have no charge and can’t walk on your team. If it’s bastion, I’m in favor of swapping to dive him, bastion is hyper dependent on team support and is subject to burst if his support is cut off. I’ve never really had a problem with torb on tank but dva is pretty strong this season and can be useful for eating up a lot of that spam. I’m a little out of practice so this advice may be null but I did scrim 4.1 to 4.2k for a number of years as tank.

Two options, switch to a tank more suited for the enemy team comp and your team comp or stay on your main, ignore your teammates and improve at playing against those heroes
