what if I measure LD50 for a group of insects? I don't know how to solve since they only weigh a milligram and I don't get the conversion. Badly need help for my numbskull 🤧🙏🏻

I"d probably convert the mg to kg (divide their mass in mg by 1 million). Probably going to be a very small number, but then you just take that and multiply by the LD50 of whatever you're talking about, which is usually listed in mg/kg.

Hope that this cruel and unnescessary test will be banned some day. Back in the 80's there were dying up to 80 dogs in this test in conditions you dont want to imagine. Just because to confirm that a new wood color could be toxic in hoomans so you shouldnt swallow it then
