SO MANY REQUESTS FOR THIS THEME!!! But rightfully so. Even the original piece of it is a headbanger so it was a huge pleasure to finally shred this amazing piece of music. The rhythm guitars were pretty much set in stone on the original however I took it upon myself to diversify the parts as much as I could, I threw in a lot of little melodic passages here and there on the guitars to try and make it unique.
Much like Toby's other compositions, the melodies are intricate and dance all over the fret board so even sticking to the original melody exactly is insanely challenging. I took it a step further though and added in some shred passages intertwined with the original melodies.
I'm also really happy with my production on this particular cover, I think I'm starting to nail my re-amping tone (it's a new thing I've been doing instead of using software amps for tones). I hope you guys enjoy this cover as much as I enjoyed making it! \m/

It's covers like these where I always notice why you're a standout guitarist. Out of all the covers of this song I've heard, you've had some of the most jaw-dropping lead guitar playing. It's especially noticeable at 1:24. Amazing cover!

your lead notes are so tight without sounding stuffy, it's really great. I'm mainly a rhythm player so I kinda draw inspiration from your videos from more of the background riffs, I wish we got more footage of the rhythms but I understand the leads are much more visually stimulating. This is a really lovely cover. Most covers don't really capture the same soul of the original, and just try to make it sound fancy, but this really nails the mood perfectly. Putting it another way, it's one of the few covers that adds to the source material, instead of taking away from it.
