You Gotta See This!! We modified a 2015 Tesla Evergreen 3812 Toy Hauler RV into a Living Quarters Horse Trailer using a Stable Boy Kit. You won't believe how much more space there is as opposed to LQ horse trailers.
Do you want to enjoy a different kind of horsepower? Converting the Toy Hauler you already own is less expensive than buying a Living Quarters Horse Trailer. And, this kit is pinned together so it doesn't alter the RV. It can be easily removed so you can go back to hauling cars, toys, ATVs, or lowering the furniture for more living space.

Why do you not center the stalls in the center of the toy hauler? It seems it would would cause it to lean to the left. Also do you have to re enforce the back of the trailer in order to carry that kind of weight on the tail?

@@cherien3805 it needs help from the sidewall structure for strength plus with it off to the side you can walk around it. We installed it as per instructions.

I would suggest you feed the butt chains through some rubber hose so the don't damage themselves on the chains. I won't cost much and its going to be way more comfortable for them.

We cut those strips out of some traction rubber pieces we had in the shop. I think you could even use pieces of wood. Just something to stop the foot if it starts to slide. Thank you so much for watching 🤠

That looks unsafe when loading, the escape door under their feet. If you had a horse that wanted to rear while you were loading or tying up, you would surely not want to crawl under their feet to use that escape door.

I totally agree with the loading and unloading being a bit unsafe. The steep ramp would make it easy for a horse to step off the side. I think some kind of rail on the side of the ramp would be a necessity. After I made this video we just have never had an opportunity to use it so we have pulled the unit out. There is NO way I would put my babies, horses inside an RV,. Not sturdy enough and plus would sway like crazy with the added extra weight,.. NO thank you!! Gotta be wood flooring for my beauties,…Sorry not for me ever! Happy Trails!

Not sure what you mean by sway with extra weight considering a toy hauler is built to haul cars and other heavy toys 🤔 On the regular I still haul with my horse trailer... this is just for special camping occasions. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Enjoy 🤠

I think having the sawdust on the floor is way more stable than the grooved plastic/rubber floor. I would be concerned at having a ton and a half of horses behind the last axle on the trailer have you been able to check the weight on the triaxle and if it keeps you below the legal limit and how much weight you have on your traile rhitch now with the horses in the back mind u if its designed to put vehicles in there it might be alright ..whether the vehicles are the same weight as 2 horses is another thing too I suppose.

Bumper pulls sway, goosenecks/5th wheels do not, especially with a triple axle. I'm pretty sure the designers of Stable Boy have conducted proper research. Hope you're checking those wooden floors & the frame underneath frequently!
