That's even better, I like the new Sooners. I towed a 3 axle Sooner stock trailer back from OK in the Seventies for a Colorado dealer. Sooners were the top of the line in Colorado in the seventies. Everybody else had a Hale or WW.

My concern is that the weight is behind the axles and a horse trailer the axles are centered under the horses plus it’s all to the left and not centered it the toy hauler if it was centered then a person could walk up along the outside of the stall on each side. But the big thing for me is that you have a heavy cargo behind the axles there for it is going to be more weight pushing you when breaking making it unsafe.

Toy haulers are tall and they have a low vent and high vent for gas fumes on ATV's. They Stable Boy had a bigger roof vent. I'm sure you can had more vents if you need them.

Do you have to have the undercarriage of the toy hauler reinforced in order for this to be safe to haul that type of weight on the tail of the toy hauler? Does the extra weight of the horses cause the tail to bounce more going down the road since the axels are forward of the weight?

Wouldn't even think of using this. #1 the mangers; horses need to be able to lower their heads to clear their airways while traveling. These mangers prevent that. #2 Air flow. Horses get HOT in a trailer, not to mention the urine smell. One or two little vents are NOT going to do it for a horse. Those vents are ridiculous.

The module looks of good quality but I would be very cautious about trailering a horse in a toy hauler. Many floors are wood without the support under them for 1,000lb animals. Four wheelers are approx. 500lbs and the cargo rating may be for less than the horses weight. Many of the toy haulers sit taller than a horse trailer and that makes the load unbalanced along with the fact that you are carrying a live load not a 4 wheeler. Horses also need ventilation for comfort and not just a fuel vapor vent. How are the dividers connected in the hauler? If there was a wreck could those panels support the weight shift of the animals? The safety of the owner is also at risking ducking under a manger so I would be concerned if I had a child or novice trying to load a horse and get out safely. Many rv's have wood support in the walls not aluminum posts so again I would research heavily before transporting a horse in a toy hauler. It is easier to add tie downs in a horse trailer that has the strength and longevity over an rv. This is just an opinion but customers and their equine partners are a top priority for us as a dealer.

It is a new concept, but a great design. Stable boy has it's own floor. You could call it a double floor. This will spread the weight out to all the floor stringers of the garage floor. The bigger garages in toy haulers are designed for jeeps which weigh more than 2 or three horses. RV's in general are body on frame like a truck, so they have a frame under the floor where a horse trailer is uni-body like a car. Toy Hauler's are designed for more weight and cargo than a typical RV. The floor is stronger, the rear opening for the garage door is reinforced.

MrTruckTV Thank you for the information on the Stable Boy. I would not want the public to confuse the category of toy haulers with the Stable Boy then because those structures are not designed for livestock. I did sell quite a few Lakota HUT trailers but they were built like a horse trailer and set up to carry toys. The industry is definitely trying to be diverse and come up with that one trailer that fits a family's outdoor adventures.

Gator Horse Trailers I understand your concern. Stable boys are designed to fit inside of Tow Haulers. Which also reinforces the floor and garage walls of a toy hauler. The garage door is also reinforced and lengthened

Gator Horse Trailers The divider framework is bolted to the walls and floor. There is wall and ceiling vents. The concerns you have, have been addressed by the inventor and the manufacture at the start. Have you actually seen a Stable Boy? I know they tried to rent a booth the The All American Quarter Horse Congress in Ohio and for some strange reason, the booths were sold out. I guess Congress needs alot of open space North of 17th Ave. Congress hasn't been sold out of space for many years. My theory is horse trailer dealers with booth space at Congress don't like competition that would challenge the core group. I'm seen this with Brenderup, Safr and the Fautras. I would encourage anyone including horse trailer dealers to tour the factory in Michigan. You might want to be the ones in on the ground floor. The public has asked for this type of conversion for years. I'm glad to see a quality product come to market.

Not enough air. 😱 Especially on a Hot day. Please show pictures of a crash test, aluminum bends! Are those aluminum bars solid? If you can show me pictures of how it holds up in a wreck I might consider it, but would Add many more vents.

My toyhauler garage area has 3 windows, 2 vents and its own 15k btu air conditioner.

This would kill your horses in a crash. The house part of the toy haulers usually comes apart from the trailer part in crashes. I'm a lifelong horsewomam as well as an extremely experienced heavy wrecker operator. I would NEVER use this unit.

There is no where near enough ventilation. Not only do horses urinate, pass stool, and get hot but they are very big animals and need to take in a lot of air. There's been cases where horses have died due to closed up trailers and not enough air. Now when the horses are loaded they put their heads under the pol protector (right above where the hay would go) there's little to no room for them to lift their heads. If they would spook? Their heads would bang on that (you also have no padding there) if there was a large bump on the road? They would bang their heads on it. The pol is a sensitive spot on a horse and that seems very dangerous. There's also little access to the horses. I like the design for sure but you need to put more of the horses safety and health into mind

Woe. 5 problems I see from video. 1. Ventilation looks extremely poor. A couple of vents is not going to work even on not so hot days. 2. No butt bar. It’s really for extra safety to keep horses from barreling out before you are ready to unload. It gives you a chance to get the doors out of the way. 3. Bad front exit. I DO NOT want to be trying to squat through an emergency front door in a tight area hoping front hooves stay still. 4. Feeding area looks a bit awkward for hay nets etc. 5. It shouldn’t take 2 people to load a horse in a trailer as demonstrated in video.
