Man, I had so many of the items you looked at when I was a kid. It's crazy when I think of how long ago that was : / It's also crazy that even 2012 was a long time ago, seeing as hear 'the year 2000' still triggers the idea of 'the future' in my mind...

It was such a nice blast from the past! You should post more videos like this, if you have more "lost footage" :D I like to think back to my past toy hunts too, but whenever I remember something that I didn't get because I didn't know what it was, and now I know, it makes me soo frustrated. Ex. a few years ago at the fleamarket, I found about 3-4 pieces from the Food Fighters line, and I thought they were weird, but at the same time cool. I was debating on getting them but in the end I didn't...I'm ashamed to say it, I didn't know what they were, I thought they were dog chew toys :)) I regret leaving them behind every time I remember it! The seller was asking around $1/piece for them too...

I feel the pain, Pixel Dan. I had so many Pokémon cards when I kid including many rare ones including Shiny Charizard, rare variant of a Blastoise card and rare Pikachu card. I threw them away because I grew up and wanted to be cool guy. When I realized that wasn’t really me, I became this TMNT geek loving toy collector. Absolutely regret it, could’ve made me a lot of money.
