I was actually in this movie. I was hired as a weapons guy to kill some martians. I can be seen in the White House invasion scene where I shoot two of the martians (right before the kids take the martian guns) and the First Lady has a chandelier drop on top of her. Yep, that's me.

For the time these were really good. Theonly issue I had was that the Martian voices were not as they were in the film but I assume the toys were designed and put into production before they had the movie sounds to use.

Absolutely love this film and the cards it was inspired by. Never had access to the actual cards, but did get a very cool book that shows all the originals illustrated in colour. Never had any of these toys either, but I did get hold of the superb Mezco Martian Commander action figure, which is really awesome.

I remeber being kinda disappointed in these figures & how their voices didn't sound like they did in the movie.

They are certainly not the best figures. But they still have some charm. And there has not been anything better for MA since.
