@azazel166 You have to complete missions and tasks until you see a commercial showing Zurg patting Buzz and Woody on the back. After that, you can purchase the Zurg converter at the toy store, and it'll show up in Slinky's corral. Also, please note that Zurg is only playable on the PS3 version of the game.

For those of you asking how to unlock Zurg...just keep playing Toybox mode, finish objectives and eventually a short cutscene featuring him will pop up. Once that's done, go to the toy store and buy him, and then head to Slinky's corral...the Zurg Converter will be located there, as seen in the video.

Can't remember why exactly, its just a PS3 exclusive. They probably just wanted more people to buy it on their platform, so they probably paid money to get an exclusive to their own console.

First, play through the story until you complete the mission where you blow up the dam. Then, it will play a cutscene where Zurg is laughing with Buzz and Woody. After that, go to Al's Toy Barn in the main part of the town and purchase Zurg ( not Zurg's Spaceport ). Finally, go through the tunnel which, above it, has a picture of Slinkey the dog next to the barn and turn left. You should see a machine with red spikes on top and a huge Z on the side. Enter the machine and press square. You should then become Zurg.
